    I initially had a great experience with **** ********* Heating Service, Inc. Their team did a good job installing my boiler in 2023, and I left a glowing 5-star review. However, recent interactions regarding their paid annual warranty have been disappointing.
    In 2023, I was quoted $199 for the annual maintenance warranty, but by 2024, it had increased to $299 with no prior notice. Despite the unexpected hike, I paid for it, trusting it would provide peace of mind. Less than a month later, my boiler had an issue. Due to minor pipe work during renovations, the warranty didn’t cover the repair, and I was charged an additional $216.16 for a 15-minute visit—completely undermining the value of the warranty.
    I also requested a quote for a larger renovation during the warranty maintenance visit but never received a follow-up, despite it being before the pipes were rerouted by another contractor. Instead, their approach to business seems focused on chasing low-hanging fruit.
    If costs like annual maintenance are to increase, proactive communication via email or mail would prevent surprises. While their technical work is solid, the lack of transparency, poor communication, unexpected fees, and unwillingness to compromise have eroded my confidence in doing business. I hope they improve their policies and communication practices, but I can no longer trust or recommend them.
