Donlon Brothers Heating and Cooling.PO **************************************** ************ ***************************** *********************************************************** **************** *********************** Better Business Bureau, The Donlon Brothers Heating and Cooling. Came to repair boiler on 9/20/2022. There was no heat, so a piece had to be replaced. Donlon Brothers Heating and Cooling charged $325.00. Now the heat is always on and cannot shut it off. I just purchased 400 gallons of oil and has consumed the oil. Large amounts of water are leaking from the pressure valve which will flood the basement. Donlon Brothers Heating and Cooling have been called several times since 9/20/2022 to fix the mistake made by Donlon Brothers Heating and Cooling. and have not come back to fix the problem they caused. I want Donlon Brothers Heating and Cooling. to refund the $325.00 and pay for the other company I have to hire on 10/22/2022 which could cost up to $ 500.

Tell us why here... Customer called and said they had no heat to the upstairs zone and scheduled a service call. We went to the customers residence on 9/30/22 and found the zone valve on the upstairs zone was broken and needed to be replaced. The zone valve was replaced and heat operation in the zone was checked and it was left in working condition. The customer paid for the service call and zone valve via credit card payment on 9/30/22 for a total of $325.88. The customer then called on 10/5/22 saying it was now overheating and wouldnt turn off so an appointment was made to return and see what the issue was on 10/10/22. The morning of 10/10/22 the customer said she needed to cancel because of a family emergency and would call back. We know her father was having health issues and understood the stress associated with that. The customer then called back on 10/18 and said she was very dissatisfied with our service from 9/30/22 because the house is overheating and believed it to be something in error that was done on 9/30/22 she also said that her father was in the hospital and she wanted afterhours service free of charge before 10/21. We called her from the office to try and schedule another return and it was unsuccessful. She was called a few times from an owners personal number a few times as well and she never returned his call. The office then called her again on 10/22 and the customer stated how upset she was with ********************************************* and that she would see us in court and hung up. We havent reached out to the customer since then. We did try and accomodate the customers wishes but she was unresponsive. We understand her father is not well and dont wish to make anyones personal grief worse. A refund will be sent to her via certified check for the correct amount of $325.88 We hope her father gets better
