Transaction date-11/28/2022 Amount ************************************************************************ my light bills, that my bills would be 20 dollars per month, The dispute is that from the beginning the company Quest Solar did not comply with what was agreed which was to assemble the panels in the first 3 months after signing the loan, I signed the contract 11/28/2022. the panels were not installed until the summer of 2023, I informed them that I was paying electricity plus the loan, they helped me at first but then ****** ****** owner of the company became rude They assured me that after the panels were working things would be regulated and that I would no longer have electricity bills but things have worsened, the bills are between ******* dollars per month plus the payment of the loan, *** ******* is my agent with whom I have tried to solve the problem, Ivn informed me that the equipment they installed for the heating and air conditioning are more powerful than he thought and that I needed 4 more panels to be able to make the panels work properly He told me that I didn't have to pay more money since I had already paid a lot of money in the previous months, they made me an appointment 04/11/2024 to install them on the day they had to go, no one showed up when I contacted my agent *** ******* gave me a number to communicate with ******* who is the project manager and she informs me that I have to pay ********************************************************* I ask her why and she just replies it was an executives decision and that she has no control over those decisions. I have tried to contact *** *******, ****** ****** and ******* to provide me with more information but no one gives me more information I have requested documents of the arrangement that was made to the loan since I have to put everything in my taxes and they have not wanted to send it to me to see if I can recover some more money put it in the loan and they do not respond and I am paying almost 750 dollars a month. I need if possible to help me solve this problem so other people do not fall into this situation with this type of company.Business Response

For ****** ******* we designed a Solar System to cover her electricity needs based on previous utility bills she provided. She also decided to update her HVAC system with an electric powered system with us. By doing so she was able to eliminate her monthly Oil bill which had a range of $600 a month. She called us complaining that despite her oil bill being eliminated, she was receiving a $300 electric bill. Upon arriving to her house in the middle of winter, we discovered that her new system was set to 80 degrees and she has had it set to that temperature throughout the winter. Upon discovering this, we advised her that in order to maintain that level of comfort she would need additional Solar Panels, offering to do it at our cost. Although we offered this to her, she feels that she should get the additional work done for free, causing this dispute.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:From day one I spoke with *** *** ******* about electricity and oil, he explained to me that the best solution would be a single system that only works with light, he did not have much knowledge and then *** ****** ****** came to my house and explained to me that the system they would install would only be light that would not need oil. My electricity costs during the winter went up not because I have the system over 80 degrees how they came to that conclusion when neither *** ****** nor *** **** have ever come to my house after I have been asking them for help to solve this problem , it's because the heating system consumes more than they thought from the beginning, If I were using the system in the wrong way them my bill should be less because I don't use the system for a large part of the day. No one is in the house from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new system It was included in the estimate, but they made the wrong calculations since that was what *** *** ******* explained to me and for the system to work properly I would need 4 more panels and I would not have to pay anything since I was having problems with the bills, I ask for all the documents with the estimate It is impossible for a business to lie to this degree alone for not taking responsibility for a human error that can be understood. When *** **** came to my house, he asked me how much I paid for electricity and how much my oil payments were, I showed him the payments and he included them in the estimate that they were ****** and increased to ****** with the new changes that would be made, so it is impossible that they did not make the new calculations with the new changes. I have never asked them for extra work, only that they make a correct estimate and install the panels that I am missing to solve this dispute.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:If we don't reach a solution, we will spend months and years discussing the cat and mouse. If you have proof of everything you say, show it. You have more complaints in your account that demonstrate the inefficiency and poor management you have. I spoke very clearly with **** ******* since *** ****** ****** never showed his face again and only wants to get more benefits from people who only want to improve their quality of life and save money, but because of companies like these that don't explain things as they are. When you request guidance on an issue, they only give you a phone number to talk to someone to see if they can solve the problem, and then they want to charge you for the service when they guarantee that they only function at their convenience. $95,000 was paid for a service that is not functioning properly. I can send you the light bills that show nothing has improved. You can inspect, and you will see that everything is just as they installed it. i just want them to install the rest of the solar panel at no cost because i dont think is fare for me to pay any more money

First and foremost, all work originally contracted including the installation of a 6.80 kW (17-panel) solar energy system and a Split Unit HVAC system was completed. The system was installed and operational per the original agreement.
It is important to note:
The scope of work initially agreed upon was fulfilled in full.
The pricing for both the original system and any additional work requested has been fair, transparent, and consistent with industry standards.
Our warranty covers system performance and workmanship for the contracted system. However, requests for additional panels or system upgrades outside of the original contract are not covered under warranty.
In this case, the client is requesting additional labor and materials (extra solar panels) to accommodate an increase in electrical consumption beyond the original design. While we understand her desire to further offset her electric usage, these additions represent new work and come with associated costs. We provided pricing for this additional work, but ultimately, no customer is obligated to proceed unless they choose to.
Regarding the claims about communication:
Our Project Manager and Sales Representative made multiple good-faith efforts to communicate the next steps and cost breakdowns.
At no point was the client promised additional work at no cost.
Installing additional solar panels at no cost was not part of the original agreement, nor is it something we can offer. We remain committed to fairness and transparency, but we must also adhere to the terms of the agreements made.Initial Complaint

this is a solar company , In their sales process they had offered to sign me up to a program where the electric companies pay you back for the production of your solar system. I signed a deal with this company summer of 2021, My solar system finally got connected February of 2022. After numerous attempts contacting this company, they are not completing their promise to enroll my system so that I can get my credits for my system. The following is the site:***************************** been asking to get enrolled since November of 2022. *************************, the owner finally assigns somebody to finish the application online in January. The person is now not responding, I personally see ****** every sunday, and now he says it is no longer his responsibility. I feel they are collecting this money on their own which could explain why they are giving me the run around.Solar Companies are the only ones who can fill this application because they are licensed and they are the contractors. This company has no customer service, and I truly believe they should not be in business.Business Response

We have never offered the option to sign any of our customers to such a program. As a solar contractor, we are not required to apply on your behalf. You have to apply/enroll on your own. We gave you the contact information you needed to enroll. The only place we are required to send an enrollment application is to the ***********************, and this was done when your system was interconnected. This company In their sales process lie to people about the credits that can be earn with production of solar system. This is unfair for this company to verbally tell customers they can receive these credits .
In order to apply the credits, The program requires for solar companies to fill out all the technicalities of the installation and system types.

A year later the install is still not finished. I have no way of monitoring the system. Keep getting run arounds and promises. Have no access to app or any way to monitor usage or productivity. Kept getting promises that technician will come out again and install a box so i will have access to the app, and nothing happens.Business Response

The installation has never been finished, and I was never given access to the app. On several occasions I was told the installer still has to set it up and will contact me. No one has contacted me and no login was ever given for monitoring. I tried contacting listed numbers several times and all I get are promises that the owner will get back to me, or no answer at all during business hours.

As a recap, we were able to reset the internet connection of your system, and were able to determine that your system is active and online since it was built. It seems internet connection issues at your home didn't allow the system to communicate with the inverter app.

The issue is still not resolved.
1. Technician was there yesterday, whatever he did he was working outside the house, and I still have no access to the application.
