I went here approximately two weeks ago, the nail tech was really nice however my gel polish began coming off by day three. I didn’t have time to go back. I called and they said they could fix it so I went in when I had time. A very rude aggressive guy named Sam very aggressively said they wouldn’t fix them due to policy. No policy is posted that I could see. I asked for a manager and he continued being rude and never got the manager. He seemed to think I was trying to get something free. I was trying to get my nails fixed understanding I might have to pay something. He then tried telling me I needed a fill in on my acrylic which I do not. He was rude. Aggressive. Intimidating and should never work with the public. The manager never came over and didn’t reading when I reached out. Horrible people. It made me wonder if he would have been that rude and aggressive if I weren’t a Black woman.

Tech Jennifer gave me a hand and foot fungus. I was yelled at by a man when I reported the issue.
I went on Labor Day to get a pedicure and a manicure. I was serviced by Jennifer who was very nice but I have issues. The day after the polish lifted from my hands and peeled off by that Thursday. I even started itching, burning and swelling. I called for the manager of the location 4 times and the last time I called I was yelled at and told I am lying by and Asian man. They are rude, careless, unprofessional and filthy. Don’t ever go to this location. I have bruises from the infection and 15 refills from the ER for cream to get rid of this mess from Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg. I hate I went there.

I was a returning customer wanting to get a fill in. The manager, at the time, told me it would be a 45 minute to an hour wait which was fine and told me that they’ll call me when they were ready. Shortly after, other customers arrived and signed in and they were seen before me. I still continued to wait. Finally the manager insisted on taking off some of my bling that were on my nails. He ended up talking about my current “pink acrylic” and how the previous nail tech shouldn’t have used that and so on. So he started to remove some of my acrylic. I informed him that it’s an overlay as these are my actual real nails just to let him know so he doesn’t actually break my nails. He asked me if I knew what colors I wanted and I told him yes. He then said I would need a soak off assuming that I would decline it so he wouldn’t have to do my nails since it was close to closing time. I stated that it was fine if he needed to do the soak off and he immediately said he couldn’t do my nails and that he’s declining my service AFTER he already removed half of the acrylic on two of my nails. I asked him for their policy regarding the declining of my service and he said “there is no policy, if I want to decline your service, I can.” He started to get really loud and angry which is very unprofessional to be in a setting like this especially with a lot of customers still getting their services done and witnessing this. I asked him for the owners contact information and he stated he could not give me that information. As a business owner, you should not hire any employee who makes your company look bad and that specific manager will have you losing a lot of business. Now I have to walk around with broken nails due to his lack of professionalism. I will not recommend my family and friends to this business. Their bar section is also failing a lot of inspections as it was gross to see what they had behind that counter and all the flies swarming the fruits that they have just sitting out.

Terrible experience. Just like the prior poster, the techs do not wash their hands nor do they ask you to wash yours. My gel polish chipped after about 12-13 days and I was told that I should have come in earlier for a repair, even though I had a receipt and it was on the 15th day! I came to relax as a dear family member died this morning. I brought 3 others with me which made Zen close to $450-$500 from me and my guests. The manager Ken was rude and condescending and wouldn’t even take $5 off for the inconvenience. I was finished almost 25 minutes after my friends and I had less services. They speak in different languages often and that is rude as you can tell that they are talking about you. My tech was rough and pulled on my legs and pulled me up too close even though I told her I was uncomfortable. The massage chairs that we were assigned too didn’t work well or not at all. Our package included a complimentary drink but we were told that that is not their primary service so I asked why did they offer it on the menu? They were going to charge us anyway! This business was very good pre-pandemic. I’ve been going since it’s opening and today was the last time for me. They don’t care about their customers. I want to feel good about spending my hard earned money and get quality service.
