      Our home was hit by the E-F Tornado on Memorial Day in 2019. Thrush and sons were hired as the contractors to repair the damages. For the most part we are satisfied with the work they did except for one continual problem. Both of the screen doors on the front of the house and the back do not shut properly never have. They will work for awhile then act up again. Its winter again and the front door vibrates when it tries to close and will NOT close you have to pull on it and then when you do then the glass that covers the screen drops down letting the air in the house outside. I have recently had to literally tape the windows shut on both doors at the top to prevent the glass from sliding down. They have sent a repairman out here on more than one occasion to fix the doors but within a week or two they are doing the exact same thing they did before he arrived. The original installer of the new doors they hired had difficulty when he installed both the front and back doors while trying to put them on. My husband and I were home and watched him. He would get upset while trying to get them to fit in properly. He was at our home for hours the day he was here. He'd take the doors off and put them back on trying to get them right. At this point I want new doors. The gal that works there said I'd have to pay for them. That's not ok with me. These doors were put on in 2019 its now close to the end of 2023 and they are STILL DO NOT WORK RIGHT. I have called to complain more times than I can tell you and I get the same story they are either short handed at work, Have only one repairman, on other projects, too busy to get back to me. I was told the boss and a worker were to come out this past June to look at the situation they never called, never showed. My dogs have escaped since the door doesn't close more than once in the front of the house. I'm so over this.
