1 starI went to the store on 4/2/2023. I brought allot of items one of which was a very bad bag of chicken leg quarters. They smelled horrible when I opened them. The expiration date was 3/31/2023. I normally trust Kroger to have fresh food in stock. I was wrong. Someone should have removed this bag. I'm not sure if I want to keep.doing business with Kroger. Either way I know to check the date now cause they are just like every other horrible grocery store. Stockers don't careReview fromCeline C

1 starI was just at Fred Myer on Broadway St in Salem Oregon. Due to a ********** co2 canister not having nutrition facts but showing on their Fred Myer website that it is **** eligible. As a result I had to use my credit card due to the employee stating if they pushed the transaction through that they could be fired for fraudulent activity. I understand this, but it’s unjust and needs to be corrected. Why say something is **** eligible when it’s not. The employee is Tye H********* who was graciously willing to look into this after mentioning fraud multiple times in case verification is needed. An e-mail was sent Tye’s boss and I hope to hear more.Review fromDevan R

1 starKroger Boost is a scam. I paid for 'next day' delivery service and it is never available next day and hasnt been for months. I have called customer service, talked with the drivers and given them time (assuming it was a staffing issues or somthing), yet never get a resolution. I would just like the service I paid for.Review fromAshleigh J

1 starI ordered close to $100 worth of grocery delivery, and it was never delivered on 3/20/2023 as scheduled. When I called immediately upon being texted that it had been delivered, I was told, "If you didn't receive your order, of course we'll refund it." The sales representative went back and forth with me repeatedly over whether the food had been delivered (it had NOT), finally agreeing to refund my money. In 5 days. When I told her that I didn't understand how I had been charged for something that I didn't receive, she offered me a $5 credit and said to call back the following week. I called on 3/27/2023, and I was told that it was 5-7 business days before I would get my money back, and to call on the 29th if I still hadn't received the refund.
Well, today is the 29th. No refund. And although I was told to email the customer service representative if I didn't receive the refund, I received no response to my email, and I now have to dispute the charge with my bank. I will NEVER shop at Kroger again, and I've been a loyal customer my entire adult life.Review fromKamini P

1 starHorrible. The cash register lady would not let me buy more than 4 chips even though there was not a limit listed anywhere on her computer register thing or the aslie. This Kroger always has a problem every time I come here. Do not go there. They are rude.Review fromCheryl F

1 starI was at the King Soopers at MIneral and Broadway. I was checking out when the dark haired florist, who had been following me through the store, let me know that the pic in my flowers did not belong to those flowers. It belonged to a different pot of flowers. She was very rude and made a scene in front of the group of people checking out. She was not going to let me leave the store with a pic that belonged to some different flowers. That was creepy of her to follow me, and to raise such a scene over a 50 cent pic was ridiculous! I've been going to that store for 37 years and have never been treated so mean in my life! Will probably be going to ******* across the street from now on! Signed, ****** very unsatisfied customerReview fromNicole S

2 starsThe digital coupons seem like fraud. You don’t get the shown price and in order to get the displayed price you have to know the secret procedure that I still have not gotten right. So you buy multiples of something because of the great deal and it turns out to be a scam. I called an employee over once because the digital coupon thing is so evasive and he, the employee couldn’t even figure out if it was one of the digital coupon things. The checker told me that they get piles of stuff to be put back because the customer catches it and says they don’t want to pay the price that is higher than usual if you don’t know the secret digital coupon way.
You lost a bunch of employees, whether they quit or were fired, and put in 2 huge rows of you-scans that aren’t working. So you have 1-2 lanes open. You’re so busy bagging your own groceries that you can’t watch the prices which are so nontransparent because the discount don’t show up till the end. And I don’t even really mind bagging myself because the baggers smash the bread - my kids went through the entirety of public school with lop-sided sandwiches. OR, this is my least favorite, they put the kindergarten classes’ cupcakes upside down. So you get home and at least one thing is the wrong price to what was shown on the shelf or completely crushed, or the berries box is popped open are are rolling around the trunk. And because the prices keep going up, it makes me dreadful and sick to go to Kroger and deal it all. We’re going to ***** more
You move stuff around so often, at least once every 2 weeks, that the shopper spends extra time trying to find things. I assume, because of the shady way Kroger has been operating with the nontransparent price stuff that the advantage for Kroger is that they pass more things to buy while Criss crossing all over the place. And I guess you’ve given up changing the hangers over the rows that show what’s on each row every 2 weeks - the employees don’t even know where stuff is anymore.Review fromKenneth R

1 starI have the Kroger delivery service. I accrued $35 worth of credit and was going to use it on my March 17th delivery order but it did not allow me on check out and was reassured by customer live chat that it would be taken off the final bill. March 17th deliver came and my delivery time was 8-9 pm. 9:30 came and no delivery. In live chat Dale said it would be 30 more minutes and gave another $10 credit for the inconvenience. I noticed on my receipt that no credit was applied as promised and went into the live chat and the employee gave me a $30 credit for the inconvenience and before I could respond, the chat ended. I have screen shots to prove all of this. March 18th I spoke to Supervisor Destiny who puts in ticket #******** because there is an error with my account showing the credit but not allowing us to apply. Destiny tells us to give her 3 days and someone will reach out. No one reached out. March 25th we ordered again and no credit was applied and our order is an hour late again. I call and speak to Supervisor Jonathon that says the ticket was completed but they found no error and he went back in and outlined everything for us and resubmitted the issue. He then informs us we only have a $20 credit even though Supervisor Destiny confirmed a week ago we had $35 and two seperate employees confirmed $35. He then proceeds to tell us he can't find the $40 credits and we gave him time stamps and offered screen shots. He refused to provide his email and stated I wouldn't be able to accept those as proof and I can't find those chats. "Even if I did find those chats I won't be issuing you anymore credits" He then proceeded to get hostile and told me is there anything else I can help you with that's Kroger related and I asked, so if you are refusing to help me and resolve my issue, who can help me? He said there is no one above me to call. I asked what is your boss name and he refused to provide it and stated that he doesn't take calls. He then hung up on me.Review fromjohn r

1 starWhile shopping at Kroger today 25 March 23, 9225 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, I observed an employee Stephanie talking to a co-worker. Stephanie was blocking half of the aisle with carts containing food that needed to be shelved with empty cardboard boxes. She had the other half of the isle blocked with open doors to the refrigerated storage display; however, Stephanie was not near the refrigerated storage display while talking to her co-worker. My significant other, an individual with a qualifying disability and accompanied with a service animal, proceeded to walk down the aisle. In order to walk down the aisle, she (significant other) had to close the door(s) to the refrigerated storage display which infuriated Stephanie. She (Stephanie) made an insulting smart remark(s) to my significant other offending her (significant other). This is not the first time that she (significant other) has been mistreated because of her disability at Kroger’s… It is obvious that Kroger will train their staff to harass customers to belittle and manipulate them (customers) while attacking those that have a disability because they (those with a disability) are a nuisance and unwanted in the store. My significant other has the same right to shop at Kroger’s the same as anyone without a disability. My significant other has the right to “reasonable accommodations” to shop and Kroger’s, and in this case, Stephanie should have closed the door(s) to the refrigerated storage display and allowed her (significant other) to pass; however, Stephanie became verbally abusive because my significant other closed the doors to the display. My significant other does not deserve to be treated any different than anyone without a disability; however, Kroger management and staff oppose the concept of treating each individual equal and will go to great lengths to be rude, obnoxious, and belligerent all while belittling and degrading a customer.Review fromShaw O

1 starI recently went to Kroger to purchase some crab legs that were on sale. The associate weigh the crab legs out of a box where they were frozen with ice around them. They weigh 3 1/2 pounds, I asked what will be deducted for the ice and he informed me that he would take off 1/4 of a pound for the ice. He asked did I want them to stream them and I said yes. After they streamed them and bagged them up. I asked them to sit it on the scale. They only weighed 2 1/2 pounds. But the
weight label read 3 1/2 pounds that I was being charged $11.99 a pound. I only had 2 1/2 pounds in the bag. Kroger should be ashamed of that kind of practice of thief by deception. That additional pound cost me $11.99 plus tax. That is robbing the consumer to increase their profit.
