    The absolute WORST insurance! Won’t cover a dime for my pregnancy care, no matter how many times my OB team requests medically necessary tests. I can’t even get them to tell me if they’ll cover the C-section that I have no choice about (my birth canal is too small… trust me, I begged to have a VBAC but was told it would be unsafe to try). I had OK insurance when I got pregnant, and if I’d known I’d be stuck with this ******** GMR, I wouldn’t have become pregnant again. We’re reaching out to a lawyer because we’re literally paying for this company to cover NOTHING for us.

    As a customer with this health insurance Im less than impressed. I have a policy with this insurer through my workplace and pay approximately $400/month. I attempted to schedule an appointment with a specialist today whose office informed me that GMR is a ******** plan and they dont accept this plan. Its confusing because my health insurance card has GMR Healthcare, Aetna, and Magellan Health on the front of the card. The back of the insurance card states that Aetna nor its affiliates provide coverage. I had thought that I had an Aetna plan. After speaking with multiple representatives I learned that GMR is a third party health insurer that creates its own guidelines regarding which doctors or providers a member can see. By the end of the day my insurance was denied by specialists. I found this quite disappointing and plan to resign from my current position in order to find a position with an employer that offers better health insurance. Beware before signing up for a policy, I thought that ***** was my insurer but an incorrect.
