Information and Alerts
Alert Details
This business has 2 alerts.
Alert 1
BBB has received information that a consumer received a request from an individual claiming to represent Allied Cash Advance, in which the consumer was asked to pay $100 on an iTunes gift card in order to release a loan. The individual claimed this fee was for a wire transfer, and additional funds were then subsequently requested. Allied Cash Advance has confirmed having no affiliation with any individual or circumstance in which gift cards would be used in order to receive a loan.
BBB warns that no legitimate company will ask you to pay in advance of a loan, nor will they ask for any loan fee to be wired to them directly by Western Union, Moneygram, or any other wire service. Traditional banks generally deduct fees from the loan amount when the funds are dispersed to you and will never ask you to pay a loan fee upfront. Requesting payment in the form of gift cards is also a red flag.
