I just had a great experience with CrossCountry Mortgage with my house buying process and would recommend them to anyone who was looking for a mortgage company!! I worked with Katie Daum at the mortgage company and to say she was amazing, may be an understatement!! Moving to SC from OH not quite a year ago and the last time I bought a house was 20+ years ago, I was “flying blindly” sort of speak, when it came to the whole house buying process. She kept me up to date and worked with me, explaining everything and making sure I felt 100% comfortable!!

WORST COMPANY EVER! Did a hardship loan that I have been going back and forth with them since September 2022. They continually ask for more information hours before they can deny it. They have repeatedly given me false names to call as my account rep with made up extensions. They have not helped me at all and they are GARBAGE. I have filed complaints with them getting absolutely no where. They are scam artists!!!!!!!

This company is nothing shy of a scam. Stay far away they do not deserve even 1 star. I sold my home and was in contract with another home, Eric Buehler made promises he CANNOT deliver! Dragged us along for months until we were out of our home and literally left on the street with a 3 year old. He made promises he couldn't deliver, lies after lies after lies. We fulfilled our commitment and gave in EVERY single document these crooks needed and then the games started to play. It sat in underwriting for weeks, told us we were closing, we pulled up to our attorneys office to get the call we werent closing. Eric Buehler lied to our faces that he was getting this done, then accused my husband of lying about his job, treated us like criminals - long story short, he didn't get us the clear to close, my down payment and the house we were supposed to move in now in jeopardy. Take your businesses elsewhere, this company is nothing shy of FRAUD and full of LIES. Thank you SO MUCH for leaving my family homeless with our animals.

We started a heloc process with them and were turned down. Then we started a refit process per their recommendation that took about 2 months and we were always the ones to reach out for updates. They stated that they did not have all of the information they needed, which they did. They have way too many silos inside their organization and do not communicate with one another. Once we found out our refinance would be turned down as well, they then took us down the rabbit hole of offering us a "brand new" internal HELOC product that they were sure we would be approved for. They ran our credit 3 times overall, had terrible communication and transparency and just about the most ridiculous run around we have come across with a company. I would not recommend at all unless you have an absolutely perfect credit score and even then do your research.

Started a refi with this company in February 2023. After the initial questions I was told we were moving forward with the application and paid 700 dollars for an inspection. After the inspection was completed, I heard 0 word from my agent except for an accidental email that was sent regarding asset disclosures (that I had already sent). I never recieved even a copy of my inspection. I would like my 700 dollars back for that. This company is a scam and just exists to lead you on. I should have read all of the other BBB complaints before working with them.

The worst customer service possible. They have a call center take your name and phone number and they never contact you. I have not been able to speak with CCM in over a month. I bet if I don't pay they will call.

I wish I hadn't refinanced with this crap company. They make making payments so difficult. If you call in for a question you are transferred several times before you ever actually speak with the department you need to. When you do receive answers, you receive multiple answers and every answer is different than the last. You'll be put on a call list and when you state you don't want to be called anymore. They will continue to call. Just this week I received a call asking about my inquiry to do a cash out refinance from April. I got very upset because the cash out refinance had already been submitted and had been closed in May 2022....this is March 2023. You would think they would see that in their system. And I'm still trying to figure out why I have a notice on my experian account of them pulling my transunion credit report in November. Cannot wait till I can move and get this loan paid off so I never have to deal with these crooks again!!!

Crosscountry mortgage is by far the WORST mortgage company I have ever dealt with. After hurricane Ian forbearance my account is so messed up, they keep reporting late to my credit- even though we aren't late and everyone of their CSR have no idea the answer to fix our issues. Then randomly they decide they want to do an appraisal on the home at our expense even though we just built/bought the home last year! unreal.

We sold our house in Oct.2022. CrossCountry held $8500 more than the amount in the purchase
agreement with the buyer. I did not receive the money until Jan. 20.They held that money since the
the closing date of Oct 3 and after the work agreed upon was complete in mid Oct.When I called to
talk with an agent of the company, they never returned my calls. I just wanted to know what the hold-
up was about. The check we received was for $8350. $150 was for a final inspection.I don't know why
we were charged when that should have been included with the closing costs. My attorney says it isn't
worth going after, but a should report it to the BBB and the Attorney-General consumer complaint Dept.
