Cross Country Mortgage is constantly harassing me via phone calls and emails trying to get me to do a loan with them. I have asked MULTIPLE TIMES to be removed from their list, and never contacted again and they continue to spoof phone numbers in order to contact me. Last call I told the guy I would contact an attorney if they call me again and I most definitely will! Nightmare! 0 out of 5 Stars!!!!

I attempted to set up Autopay for my crossCountry Mortgage. You would think a company would make it easy for you to give them money each month, However, CrossCountry has made it impossible to do it unless you have a computer one which I do not care for or you have to wait until the mail gets here with an application to do so. Why does CrossCountry make it so difficult to set up auto pay? I remember when you could call someone verify who you were then setup automatic payments. Apparently, CrossCountry employees are unable to do that over the phone. I have to go get a computer or wait for the mail to deliver me a form. The problem with that is I travel and often I’m gone for several weeks. I simply wish you would make it easier for me to give you money every month automatically. DONT MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT!!

I gave 1 star because it wont let me leave a zero. I spent 20 minuets with there automated system before I was able to get to a representative. When she answered it sounded like I just woke her up and she didn't know what to say. She then took my information and said someone will call me back. I still haven't received a call back. There automated system makes you jump through hoops to be able to talk to a live person. The last 2 years they have made mistakes with my escrow account and then want me to pay to keep my payment what it is or they will add it to my monthly payment.

Horrible customer service support for existing loan. It is very difficult to reach a live agent. Customer service phone line relies on virtual assistant that is rule-based and doesn't offer more than basic functions, won't transfer to live agent and doesnt offer “other” category if your question doesnt fall in their categories. Virtual chat via online portal also deadends — says high volume so check back later. This poor service occurred during a time our mortgage was transferred from one CrossCountry bank to another requiring change in loan number and payment address — very disruptive and would have expected extra attention to good service when they initiated these changes.

Straight up, this company is trash, they had 30 days to write up a loan for the buyer of my house, and have already pushed the closing date back 2 weeks now, wouldn't recommend them

So my trouble started a year into my mortgage. At the time, they told me one of my policies expired and I needed additional coverage. They then bought a policy without my consent or any warning for well over 3000$. This was in addition to my homeowners policy i already had in place. When I tried to find out what coverage I needed, I was told windstorm. I got windstorm however they kept the policy in place because it wasn't adequate. I tried for weeks to get ahold of a person to discuss with them but the people I talked to sent me to machine after machine that never let me talk to a person. I gave up. My mortgage rose $1000 from 1600$ to 2600$ per month and no one from this company would help me.
Fast forward a year, the previous policy i had expired and they are now threatening me with a nearly $6000 policy (keep in mind this is after I had a separate comprehensive policy that.met all their check boxes which they REJECTED but did not.explain WHY.
I'm a resident (medical trainee) so I work a lot, upwards of 80 hours on a light week. I have no time off so I needed a company that would help me troubleshoot the problem when I had a letter telling me they would be raising my eschrow came and theyd rejected my policies.
This company isn't it. They won't help you. They don't care. You can't talk to a human. Stay away from them

My home burned down on 1/16. I had a total loss and check issued for 351k. It’s been over a month and a half since overnighting them the check. Every week twice a week I check the portal and talk to chat or call and talk to customer service. I get a different story EVERY time I talk to someone. First I was to wait and get 1/3 of the check to begin repairs. Then they were missing paperwork from court-I never went to court. We get that resolved and I was told very clearly that I would receive the greater of the two either the overage of the check to what I owe on the mortgage or 1/3 of the claim. Overage is 30k, 1/3 if 117k. Great okay check back next week. I check back and a check is pending issuance. Of course I inquire as to how much. It’s 30k. Makes no sense. An hour later on the phone I’m told that the cap is 10k but they are issuing 30k due to the overage and I won’t be getting 1/3 of the check that was incorrect. That info is the only thing that they’ve been consistent with is saying first check is a 1/3 of the claim. I’ve been asked 4 times if I intend on paying off my mortgage or repairing the home. I’ve told them all 4 times I am repairing my home. Stop asking me to pay off my mortgage.
So I am to begin REBUILDING MY HOUSE for 30k. How in the world is that even possible? These people are evil, horrible people. Different story every time you talk to somebody. They keep your money and take advantage of the worst time in your life. They are criminals. They make it so hard you want to give up which I have officially done.
