      Good luck talking to a person after you become a Cross country member. Their service is absolutely horrific. If you want to have a mental breakdown, call their 800 number and try to work through the automated directory, they do everything in their power to not let you talk to an actual person. If I could, I would absolutely leave just for that fact.

      This company is absolutely horrible. Their construction loan process is designed to put them in full control of the entire process but also allows them an out of they do not perform their responsibilities. This company is all about themselves and not their customers. They paint themselves as this company for the average American buy they are not for the American people at all!! There are sooooo many other morally ethical mortgage companies out there. Do yourself and bank account a huge benefit and STAY FAR AWAY from this company. They are quick to default on plans they screwed up on and gave themselves and out!! They are hurting for money and will do anything to ensure they are not harm by nor performing their responsibilities.

      Repeatedly automated system. I have tried everything to get hold of a customer service representative and it is impossible. Do not go with the loan company!

      I highly recommend Dave ******* as a lender! Dave went above and beyond and worked diligently to get my loan not only closed, but closed on time.
      My situation was unique and a bit difficult. His expertise and experience played a huge role in getting my loan closed. A different lender might not have been able to make it happen. Dave did an outstanding job!

      I wish zero stars was an option. Their call queue for servicing is the biggest loop ever. I think it might actually be impossible to br able to speak with a representative. They do not care about their customers

      They changed my mortgage from one division to a different division and their customer service is non-existent. Every time you call it is automated and when you ask to speak to a rep you get hung up on. Cross Country Mortgage sucks and they should do better in their customer service.

      My experience with this company has been poor. They have changed my loan number 2X over 2.5 yrs and recently changed the online servicing. Then I couldn't pay my mortgage and when I called customer service they said the problem would be fixed and I had 90 days to pay my mortgage with no fees or negative credit reporting. Then in less than 30 days, they charged me a late fee of $151. Stay away from this company and find another more reputable company that has knowledgeable and ethical customer service.

      By far the worst, i mean absolutely worst experience ever! It's impossible to reach a representative because of the automated response system. It doesn't forward you to a representative and can only answer simply questions which are clearly visible on the account page. Also what is the point of the virtual assistant if it cant even get you in touch with a live agent. Apparently, agents are never available regardless of the time of day so if you have a problem there is no way to talk to someone and get it addressed. Over $940 was removed from my account and not applied to my escrow or anything for my mortgage, and I can't reach a single person to help address this issue. This provider needs to shut down, and new laws need to be put in place requiring any service provider to have live representatives during their active working hours. This automated services nonsense has gotten out of order. I would give Cross Country Mortgage LLC negative stars if I could.

      24 hours before my closing date the underwriter dropped the loan because these morons don’t know how to properly do their job. 3 months of an excruciating process, and money out of my pocket all for nothing cause of an overall mediocre company. Underwriter basically gave their reasoning stating there were too many ‘red flags’ in the paperwork submission. 24 hours prior to being approved. Absolute jokes. I would avoid this place like a plague. I regret not looking at BBB prior to engaging with these monkeys. A donkey could have done a better job.

      I got a letter mentioning our mortgage was being transferred to another entity through Cross Country. I have not had any problems with them until now. Keep in mind that I have my current home for 3 years now and last home for 6 years. It took 3 weeks to get access to the account and new information. Issues with verifying the account once it transferred, beings that I did not have any say when they decided to transfer their debt to a new location. That was my first red flag. Then dealing with receiving my 1098 incorrectly and then calling a customer service line only to be told to wait until 2/22/24 to go online or request a new one. Then their online site was not helpful and kept erroring to retrieve what I needed. In which I was told by the rep that they would REQUEST a duplicate to be sent out which could take another 2 weeks ( due to covid the mail carrier system has not recovered as what the rep said to me) in which I manage businesses and send information out all the time, so I know it is not going to take that long. Which to me means that you are going to send it to 5 people before it gets sent out from the company and take approx. 3 days to actually get to me.
