Live! Technologies is aware of attempts to fraudulently use their name in tech support scams. One or more individuals, with no affiliation to Live! Technologies, claiming to be doing business as Live! Technologies solicits consumers across the country advising them their computer service is set to expire and will automatically renew and their accounts will be automatically debited $599.99. Consumers are further advised to call their cancellation department if they do not want to renew the service. Consumers who call are advised to give the scammer remote control of their computer giving the scammer access to everything that is on their computer.
Live!Technologies takes this and other fraudulent activity very seriously and recognizes that attempts to contact or solicit personal information from consumers constitutes illegal activity. Live! Technologies works with authorities to investigate these activities. If you receive a phone call or email matching the description above, Live! Technologies encourages you to report the fraudulent activity to your local authorities.
