The actual body work done on my car was fine - but the body shop lost my *** keyfob, contracted out a replacement for a key fob that was not *** which performed poorly and then refused to compensate the price difference to the contractor. I understand if the contractors product doesn't perform to expectations but none of this would have happened had Fine Line not lost my keys in the first place. Their refusal to compensate the *** Key price difference was appalling to me and it resulted in an additional $350 expense on my part to have a key that performed to expectation.

When I took my Kia Soul to ******, where I originally bought it, answering a recall on the vehicle to replace the infamous thief-prone steering column mechanism, they discovered that the work Fine Line Auto Body Alum Creek did replacing it was wrong. ****** then charged me $110 to replace the broken steering wheel piece Fine Line shoddily installed and gave me a big key flat key to turn the new ignition, while advising me I had to keep the original key FOB to actually unlock the doors of my car from now on (neither key works for the other function). When I called Fine Line to ask they pay for the bad work ****** discovered and photo-documented, they took weeks to get back to me (claiming to check with their regional offices). Then emailed me that it was impossible that they installed a cobbled together unit in my car so they wouldn’t be reimbursing me for their bad work. I’m trying to reach out again and again in writing for someone other than “****,” I was met with zero communication. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone. 0 out of 10.

After thorough review and consultation with our team, including our regional Manager, it has been determined that the Ignition Cylinder was broken during the removal process at Ricart. Our shop manager has provided insights into the nature of the damage, explaining that the grooves on the ignition cylinder indicate it was installed correctly and would not have failed once the anti-theft mechanism was in place.

We stand by our quality assurance processes at Fine Line Auto Body, ensuring that all vehicles undergo rigorous checks before being released. Our regional manager has also affirmed that had the ignition cylinder been broken upon release, it would have been detected during our thorough inspections.

Regrettably, Fine Line Auto Body cannot be held responsible for the broken ignition cylinder, as it occurred during the removal process at Ricart. However, we value your business and are committed to assisting you in any way we can moving forward.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to continuing to serve you in the future.

I came into fine line with dent in my left back fender of my 2013 chy 200 s. When ask if I could make an appointment they said no worry we will fix it right now in about 5 min. They did so and didn't charge me for their wok. I didn't think people like this existed anymore.
Thanks fine line you made my day in so many ways
God bless you and your business... 5 stars all day long

This company left my doors unlocked all night long to my 2015 Dodge Charger. Well someone jumped over their wall supposedly and stole my 2 12 subwoofers out my trunk. I have the police report that they filed once they realized someone broke into their facility. I just so happened to go into the shop. I noticed my system was gone. I immediately asked the *** he has horrible customer skills **** or **** is his name) he then sayid to me yea someone broke into our establishment and several cars were broken into and that my car was one of them. I said well how did they get in my car? Did they break my window or something? He said no one of my mechanics accidentally left your door unluck all weekend and thats how they got in. Well that sound like negligence to me. I wont a resolution to this problem they created I wont them to own this mistake a fix it asap! My deductible is $1500 and they owe for my speaker rather they want to deny any responsibility or not. Fix this now final line. Your reputation on the BBB is HORRIBLE!
