      August 2021, tornado destroyed our garage and they refused to cover it, even tho we had lender/******* **********
      Then Jan,2022 our entire home burnt down, and we are still waiting a a insurance check from Huntington mortgage and ******* ******* ********** It's been over a year and we are still homeless. And no one is doing anything to resolve this issue. It's awful
      They have all the documents and I can upload our burnt house if u need to see it. Be ause they haven't done anything to help us.

      Feb. 28th 2023,a little after midnight, I went to their location at the ********  ******** *** ******. I did a total of 3 atm transactions. The first one was for $1000 and it processed fine. The second was for $1900. That transaction only dispensed 250$ out of the $1900. There was a car lurking around the parking lot and it was after hours so I did a balance inquiry and pulled off afterwards. I went to them to file a complaint about the transaction and was told since it was not a huntington card there was nothing they could do. I'm am requesting the remainder of that transaction since it never adjusted in my acount.account. I received one 50$ and ten 20s from this transaction but I requested 50s

      2 issues

      1st -  On 1/21/22 Check # *****  was stolen and altered and tried to be cashed for $4,800.00 at ******** **** *** *****. Was told that the check was not cashed but the funds were removed from my account. Have been dealing with Huntington bank in Dowagiac, MI to have the funds returned. I have been working with the Branch Manager ******** ***** and was told by her that they tried and have not been able to get the funds refunded.

      The last email from Branch Manager was on 2/16/23 stating the ******** **** *** ***** has not complied and unfortunately they do not have to respond with in a dictated time frame. in November 2022 I hired a lawyer to send a letter requesting refund and have not had any response from ******** **** *** *****. This should of been taken care of by Huntington Bank.


      2nd - On 2/3/23 another check # ***** was stolen and altered and cashed for $4,953.75 by Huntington Bank.
      After filling out affidavit and retuning in the time allowed, received a letter from Huntington Bank stating that they had reviewed the affidavit they are saying that I declined to implement their ******** ******** ***** ********. I have request that they send me a copy of me declining this service. I was not offered this service after the first issue, which would of prevented the second issues from happening. I have not received any information regarding me declining this service.

      I attempted to withdrawal money from ATM
      today. The ATM gave an error and did not give my money. That is fine but it still withdrew from my account. When I called to dispute this the agent ******* basically either muted me on or walked away from her phone when I requested a supervisor when I said I would not wait 10 business days for my account to show I did not withdrawal this money. You can tell she thought I would just hang up. I did not I shared I would call her back and hope she would get fired. She still did not respond. I called back on another phone and that agent ******* was great. She go t me to a supervisor. I expect my account to be fixed way earlier than 10 days and it still isn't. As I was talking to the supervisor ******* finally came back to the call, after about 25 minutes not responding to me. I did talk a few times to see if she would respond and she wouldn't. She then proceeded to say she was going to disconnect the call for no response. I took her off mute and was talking while she said this and she still hung up on me and talked over me. You could tell she could hear me as she stopped talking when I was talking at least once. The supervisor heard it all and said was floored as was I. My daughter was videoing this on her phone the entire time also. I expect my money ASAP and the way I was treated shows this employee purposely did what she did and should be fired.

      I recently sold my car to a dealership whoa issued me a check. I deposited said check into my huntington bank account the check was for $19000, I expected there to be a hold with such a large check. Huntington put a hold on it, I kept logging into myt mobile app to check and see the anticipated day i could expect the check to clear, they locked me out of my account and decided I am to high risk and are closing my account. I have been calling and speaking with them for the last 7 days on how and when I will be getting my money. the check cleared today, but they will not give me my money in the branch, they said even though the check has cleared they still have to get written documentation from the bank that issued the check. All I want is the money from my account.

      I opened my account with Huntington it’s been over a month and I’ve kept it in good standing all of sudden I deposit 2 checks which one is my tax check one into my checking and the other into my savings and now the next day comes and they want to close my account for no valid reason I did have a account with someone a long time ago and it went bad not because of my doing but they should have closed my account right away if there was a problem I even deposit cash into my account I and one person says there a hold another says it closed and I would like my account to remain opened because I love this bank I just want to have a account and get my job pay directly deposited and be able to keep the account

      My used car was financed through this bank. I cancelled my GAP/ service contract and was to receive a refund of $5,412.00 that was sent by check from ********** **** on February 16, 2023. Several calls to this bank and I was told that an investigation would need to be done and it would take a few days. Heard nothing. I asked several times for a contact person that the car dealer could speak to I get put on hold and sent to someones voicemail. No one ever calls back. I'm paying interest on $5,412.00 DAILY that I shoudnt be.

      ?I opened a money market account with Huntington Bank on 1/5/2023 over the phone with a woman named ***** ****. I began funding the account from a savings account I have with Discover Bank. On 1/6/2023 I moved $200000 from my Discover account to the Huntington money market account. On 1/11/2023 I decided to move more funds to the Huntington money market account. The transfer request was made from the Huntington money market account from the Discover account. The transfer of $50000 was submitted on 1/11/2023. This money was debited from the Discover account on 1/12/23. On 1/16/23 I received an email from Huntington notifying me that there was a suspension with my Discover account and I was instructed to contact the bank for details. When I contacted them I was told that a fraud alert was triggered because the account was not verified and I needed to go to a branch and submit proof that I owned the Discover account. I asked to speak with a manager because I found it very strange that the money would be moved and then they’d suspend the account. I was told that he would look into and get back to me. I never heard back from that man. I submitted the proof the Huntington after going to a branch on 1/20/2023. I spoke with several people regarding this matter and I was told by every one of them that the money taken out of the discover account and was ‘missing’ would return to the Discover account. This did not happen, on 1/23/23 the $50000 in question was deposited into the Huntington money market account. The representative at the branch instructed me to contact customer service and request a backdated interest payment. To date I have not been paid the backdated interest. The last I was told was that someone was researching the matter. No one follows up with me and I have spent countless hours trying to figure out what is going on. They falsely took my money and held it. If they needed to verify an account they should not have been taking money out of said account

      About 6 months ago, I was told that my account was closing due to fraud. I sat down with a banker and she went over my account and I told her that none of the transactions were fraudulent and I knew the people who were on my bank statement. The banker could not help me and I was told to call customer service. The banker also told me that I could come back to see if I can open another account in 6 months.

      I called customer service and they told me the same thing that they saw fraudulent activity. I explained to them that I was aware of all the transactions and that there was no fraud. Huntington still decided to close my account.

      I don’t understand why I can never have an account with Huntington and I recognized all transactions on my account. Huntington is accusing me of fraudulent activity and this was not the case.

      On March 2nd, 2023, I went online and made an account with Huntington. Everything went well until today March 3rd, 2023, where my new account with nothing in it was blocked and no one could tell me why. I am very frustrated because I enjoyed being a customer and using all of the features on the Huntington app in order to help with budgeting.

      2/1/23 debit purchase for $75 denied. Wrong zip at time of purchase. Ran 2nd time transaction went through. 2/6/23 tried atm w/drawl $200. Insuff.funds, did lesser amt $100. Went through. Was told that my card was "locked" on 2/1, and purchase denied( so I went n paid cash) not true, pmt went through, no card locked. 1st time Wrong info. Told 2/6 transaction locked my card, not true. 2nd call to bank with Wrong info. My ssi deposits(2 a month) are flagged bc locked acct( got letter from ss, not bank, I have to go fix that) I had a $500 stand by cash pmt due. Tried to deposit $600 in atm on 2/26/23. Money came bk out, said contact bank. That's when I was told my card was locked!! No emails, no letters saying anything! Tried to make min pmt on standby cash $304. Couldn't. Went in branch in northside, told to call. I called 3/1. Was told my acct was sent to collections and I can never use it again! Went to collections on 2/28/23. So, this was 3/1/23 @ 9am. Made $100 pmt. Went into branch in strip district, ******** *********. She called and verified all my calls and that I never received notice of locked acct, social security getting flagged, stand by credit line going into collections! Had all phone calls and notes in computer that I tried to resolve problems. Still no different outcome. Asked who was supervisor, manager. No one can tell me a name, just a random 1 800 cust service number I've been calling. I've tried to make this as short and informative as possible. I want my line of credit back! I want to know why and when my card was locked bc both times I called they told me wrong info. I now have to figure everything out that went through, didn't go through. My credit is now going to suffer bc of Huntington banks inadequacy! I also have a home equity loan $70,000 through them. Do all my banking with them. They basically said "sorry, but no one knows where or who to talk to to resolve this?" How is this possible a fdic ins bank has no manager/supervisor.
