Customer Complaint
Consumers from across the United States have contacted BBB concerning ACS describing the callers as rude and aggressive. One consumer said, "I called the number listed on their website for their corporate office and asked to file a complaint about one of their bill collectors. Shockingly, they put me through to the person whom I had called to complain about, who answered by saying, "I understand you don't want to talk to me?". I was completely outraged that I called to complain about her and they put me through to her when I was to speak to someone above her."Another consumer said, "The telephone calls have been threatening. A collector said he has a picture of my home." ACS responded saying, "I suspect she was surprised the collector had ... a "picture" of her home." ACS has responded to some consumers indicating they would not be contacted by phone again, or the account was returned.
