      I paid off 100% of my loan to Comenity Bank (Trek Credit Card deferred interest program) in July. I wanted to check if the debt was fully satisfied and tried to log in August, wasn't able to. I was able to log in today 8/20/22, I find out that they charge me an additional $41.11 (Not sure of what, as I said, paid 100% of the debt) then $31.00 of fees and now they are showing a late payment. I just satisfied the additional and should be final charges of $72.11. Called customer service to discuss the matter and there is no way to get in contact with them. I have a perfect paying record in all my accounts and my credit score is 790. I will continue with legal actions if needed.

      Absolutely horrendous. Zero stars! Stay far away. I could write a book on the dysfunction of this garbage can of a company. Unbelievable

      They reported inaccurate delinquent information to the credit bureaus after I paid my account off in full. I never receiving the actual credit card (I got instant in store approval) nor any billing statements!

      Terrible credit card that over charges consumers and should be avoided at all costs! Their payment cut off time is 5pm eastern time which is purposefully inconvenient, be prepared to pay a ridiculous extra fee when you pay your **** after work (6pm) They have such high percentages and fees so they never allow you to pay the balance of the credit card down, it basically turns into a lifetime loan & for inexperienced new credit seekers, they will load you up with multiple cards to ensure you will pay them forever. Avoid!

      This bank is fraudulent. I made one purchase, with this card, paid it in full and there are still 3 months of fees charged on my account. I have called multiple times and they say it is a computer error and that they will remove the charges and yet never do.

      I paid off my card and after a few months got a message saying my payment was over due. When I called and spoke to them they said when you make a payment you get charged an interest charge thats not added to your payment. So after a lot of discussion they decided they would return my payment I made and waive the charge so my account would be at zero. Three months go by and I get an email saying my payment is past due. So I look and they charged me a interest charge for them reimbursing my money and its been three months no emails or statements sent out and now I owe them money again. Tried speaking with customer service and they tried giving me the same oh well if you keep your account we will remove the late fee charges. I said h*** no Im not doing that bull s*** again they charged me for returning my money so I said Im done close the account. 1/10 would not recommend these people

      I cannot say enough negative about *************** I believe there is something predatory and very corrupt going on here. I have had REPEATED difficulties in paying off my credit card balances with this bank because even when you pay the full balance off that is on your statement, they come back with service fees and interest that supposedly accrued between the time you hit the submit button on the electronic payment, and their actual receipt of your money. And it seems you are never fully paid off. Even after I paid fees I did not believe I owed, (in order to just get rid of them) I closed my a count with them, and received a statement three weeks later, stating I owed $4.59 interest payment. Right underneath the amount owed, it literally stated that my account was closed, as I had requested. And it reflected the last payment I had made over the phone with a live agent, in order to assure my relationship with this bank had been settled in full. Needless to say, I called them back, and after what felt like a wild goose chase, I got another live agent. After I threatened to call my states Atty ******** ******* she said she wiped out the fee and put my account balance at zero. We will see if that holds.

      My bank sends a check to Comenity for payment on ********* due 17th of month 10days in advance, on time! Upon getting a copy of the endorsed check I discovered they are depositing to a **** of America account, so they are creating a delay of their receipt, so they charge me a late fee. When I called, horrible waiting time, I was told they would credit me, which they did but then reversed the credit, and continue the late fees every month, so I pay my $40 payment, and they charge $40 late fee! This bank is a disgrace! My card was originally with ************ but was sold to Comenity.

      ABSOLUTE worst bank I could ever use or having. I have a Torrid Credit Card and my husband and I going through some debt relief type stuff due to some unforeseen things in life so we had them take care of every CC we had BUT torrid because that one was lowest and I know I could keep that one taken care of. I went to go look at my account and noticed that I was $100 and some change away from my limit.. couldn't use it. Call the # and they tell me that a POA was added and my account was frozen. They didn't tell me, call, email, message on the Torrid app.. NOTHING.. I sent 7 messages in a matter of 4 weeks to tell them that I am financally taking care of this card. I was told by a lady on the customer service to send a "secure message" letting them know who was financally taking care of it.. 4 weeks FOUR WEEKS later I get a message back them telling me that I NEED TO WRITE A LETTER. This bank is a scam and customer service is s*** and I would rather bank with a freaking toddler because I am sure they know more about it then the people from other countries can understand.I hope this bank goes down, drowns, bankrupt all the things. wish I could give them a Negative star.

      Made July payment on time. Was due 7/27 and was paid 7/26. When I received the August statement there was a $30 late charge and $2 interest charge. When I reviewed the statement, I noticed that the payment was posted on 7/29, I verified with my bank that the payment was cashed 7/26. When I tried to call to discuss they were having system issues and could not resolve. A week later I called again and was on hold for over an hour before I finally hung up. I still do not have this issue resolved.
