The Comenity Bank should be banned from operation. I had an account several years ago but then canceled it. Suddenly, in June 2022, I received a call that I owed $19 for their annual shipping club, plus a late charge. I explained I had never agreed to such a fee and didnt even have an active Full Beauty card. I didnt want it and to please cancel the charges. They gave me a number to call. I called twice and both times after being on hold for 20 or so minutes, I was disconnected. I have since read the bank had a software problem and their accounts were not accurate. I mentioned that on next call and said it was their mistake and they needed to fix it. Not only have they not fixed it, but I am getting 4-5 calls a day from their collections. I have explained several times but instead of them fixing, they just keep harassin phone calls. *********************** ******

I'm dealing with third party as well. I have laundry machines in my unit that take credit cards for payment. I'm going to tell you the number $76 was taken out of my account the name that appears on it is comenity web service which provides service to this laundry service. I called my bank and the laundry service. I'm not sure how this happened because I don't have an account with comenity, and as of today I had never heard of them. The funny thing is I did a load of wash the day before using a debt card, but the money was actually taken from my banking account number.

These are honest assessments of this company. They are preying on innocent people! I do not understand how they are still in business. Are there no laws to shut them down?!!

This bank has no morals and they have idiots answering the phones!! They have locked my account because I missed 1 payment! I only know this since my cc was declined! I have never felt more humiliated. I check my account online and there is a big message that I have a payment missing. I always pay my bills on time, so I'm confused how this happened. I pay the minimum amount due plus an extra $50, just to make sure I was covered. Went to use my cc and it was declined Again! After many attempts, I finally got to speak with someone and they said because I missed my payment due on the 2nd my card was locked! No heads up regarding this would happen, I received no notification that I have missed a payment and more importantly that my card will be locked! After 1 missed payment! No grace ******* How are they doing this? Never in my life have i had a cc locked because my payment was late!!! I was on the phone speaking with the ************** Service Agent, only to be "disconnected"! So I still need to call back! Their website is not stable. It took me a few attempts to login because it kept saying that my credentials were not recognized. No known account. I am beyond furious. This, plus the update issues last month that lasted days where you couldn't access the site, is leaving me Very skeptical and will actually be canceling my account. I do not trust, nor recommend Comenity Bank. Stay Away!

I opened a Carters card and spend under $400, haven't used since--and it's been an absolute nightmare. My in store payments have not been recorded properly, and I get constant calls that my account is delinquent. It's not worth the small savings or bonus points; RUN AWAY!!!!

I opened a ************** credit card at ******************* Loft. I wasn't told at the time that I opened the card that they were transferring to a different credit card company. I have several years of retail experience. All credit card applications should cease and desist during the rollover period! About 5 weeks later, I walk in the store to pay my credit card and it won't go through. The payment ends up taken out twice and overdraws my account!!! All weekend long I cannot reach them because apparently the phone lines are down and have been down over 2 weeks already!!!! Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!I finally get a letter dated July 27, 2022 stating that I will be credited the overdraft fees and the duplicate amount (the bank had already credited the duplicate amount but I can't reach anyone to tell them this), and during all this aggravating, unprofessional ******** I have gone and closed my credit card.8/11/22 I receive a letter dated 8/1/22 that a returned payment has been added back to my account (WHY????????) and my ******************* account has been currently suspended. HOW CAN YOU SUSPEND AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS ALREADY CLOSED???? This type of business conduct is unacceptable!!!!!

This company is through Victoria ******** I have about 5 credit cards that I NEVER have an issue paying off the balance let alone a late fee. This comenity bank card is the ONLY one I've ever had an issue with and even more so when there was an update erasing ALLLL of the bank information used to pay the statement off along with my scheduled payment. I of course was not aware of this until AFTER the statement due date and was hit with a late fee AGAIN. Worst f****** company to ever deal with! Will NEVERRRRR SIGN up for any credit cards or store cards that use this company!!!

Comenity Bank's website was difficult to sign into the first time. Their customer service sends you automated assistance that will iritate the heck out of you. Their customer service people have no clue about anything. Once on their site, it was difficult to navigate in order to pay them. You can pay by phone, but they charge you $10 to do that. I became so frustrated, I just paid them off in order to get them out of my life. If I could rate them negative stars, I would. Avoid Comenity Bank at all cost!

Comenity Bank as the worst customer service. You can never get through to anyone. I had to lock my own credit card online due to a fraud charge. I have been trying for months to get a hold of someone. I have called and emailed nothing works. I want my credit card to be canceled I do not have a balance.

Was late on a payment, they called and demanded payment for missed payment, late fee and next payment. At that time my bank balance was owed so I gave them my capotal one credit card number. They lady gave me a confirmation number and so I assumed I was paid up to the next month. That next month when I go to call in a payment, I was told I owed late fees and three months of payments.Since then they have attempted drafts from my bank account over and over causing returned check fees, late fees and interest charges. I am disabled and get paid once a month and they "attacked" my bank account 5 or 6 times trying to get money in one month....each time causing me to incurr another fee and returned check charge.I recieved a letter stating they had closed my account and canceled any future planned payments yet they still try to get money out of my account multiple times a month.STEER CLEAR OF THIS BANK, THERE NEEDS TO BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM FOR UNFAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES.
