They charged my bank twice on two different occasions for payments I made (in full, meaning nothing more was owed) because their system was down and still is months later. One extra payment is being investigated by my bank and the other I just decided to let them have (less than 4 bucks). I told them to close the account which is still open according to the email statements I receive but cant see due the online login saying my account is closed. It is still showing as open on my credit reports, they better not affect my credit rating! Will never use their services ever again! One star is too many!

This bank absolutely scams you. I've set up Auto Pay several times since opening my account and each time, they don't process the payment as they should and I'm charged a $35 late fee. This is absolutely vile business practices. Even though calling and harassing you after 1 missed payment is a nuisance, I would have never known that once again my payment was missed since they don't email you about missing a payment. They'll email you about when your next payment is due like everything went through just fine. Avoid as much as you can.

The worst financing bank I have ever dealt with. Their customer service reps are rude and untrained. I would not recommend using this bank.

All the reviews on this is accurate. Terrible terrible bank. They should not be allowed to lie and deceive customers. Where is the regulatory body for this bank? Worse than terrible. There are no words that can describe how horrible this bank is. We didn't choose this bank. This bank took over the company that held the credit card. Where is the protection for consumers?

I have had the Comenity Mastercard for years without issue. A few months ago their site was consistently down and when I could get in, showed no payment due. Somehow they completely missed my July statement and all of a sudden a have a late fee. **************** number transfers to inactive numbers and Im fearful this will impact my credit. I am going to just pay the card off, but the late fee and inability to pay was not my fault!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Like so many others have mentioned, this bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my life! I cannot reach anyone by phone, their online services do not work, and their online quick pay options do not work either. You are lucky if you can even sign in! I took out a store credit card to help my credit. Ive tried to pay my **** but their system is not working properly. I think this bank should be investigated for allowing credit to be used but not providing a stable way to pay on the account, ultimately leaving to harm on ones credit! Stay away!!!

I have reported these charges as fraud and comenity said its from a 3rd party vendor. I have attempted to contact both companies to get these fraud charges removed from my account and Comenity has also said they were charged in error due to a system problem. Well if they admit it was a system error then they should fix it. These charges have been going on for quite some kind and until they fix I will no longer be making a payment to Comenity. This is out and out fraud!!!

My BJ's card has been through Comenity for several years and I have always paid my **** IN FULL every month. I always pay online and I wait until the due date to make sure that there is no balance after it is paid. During this time, I have always had to jump through hoops just to access my account because their system refused to recognize my computer even though it was the ONLY way I ever tried to access the account. In June, I received an email from another creditor who also uses Comenity saying that they had upgraded their system and that, because some people could not access their accounts, all late fees and interest charges incurred through July 2 would be waived. My payment was due on July 10 and, because I was sure that there were no pending charges, I started trying to pay my balance in full on July 9. After spending 24 hours almost constantly trying, I was never able to access my account because their system would not email the unique code that I had to use every month to make the payment. I called but got nowhere because the person I finally reached could barely speak English, so I was unable to make the payment. Several days later, after trying every day, I was finally able to access my account but found that I had been charged a late fee of $40 plus interest, so I sent a secure message saying that I would pay in full but only after the invalid charges were removed, but I got no reply. Several days later I sent another message and got a reply 3 days later saying that they had removed the late fee but the interest charges were valid, and that the late fee would be applied again if I didn't make the next payment on time. I replied saying that the interest charges were NOT valid and that I would not pay one ***** that was not my fault but again got no reply. In the meantime, the card was used for gas and worked but today it was declined. My next step is to retain an attorney and ***.
