      To enroll for an online account, robo calls are REQUIRED. They made verbal promises not to sell my data, but would provide nothing in writing. When I attempted to use a legit email address they claimed it wasn't possible (but it "wasn't me. Their team was working on it...i have screenshots of the whole interaction, including the ultimate email they sent and to which address), then removed everything from that address that could identify them as a company (Gmail allows a legit email with +******** ********** so you can track who is doing what).
      I will NEVER do business with commenity/bread financial ever again and I don't care at this point what impact it'll have on my credit - the second I pay off this card I'm closing my account. I'm so glad I trusted my instincts and despite the time I wasted on hold and finding work-arounds, it is going to be cheaper in the long run because this company cannot be trusted.

      They refuse to apply the cash back to the balance of the account. Have been getting the runaround for six months in spite of numerous phone calls.

      I had a **** ** ******* Credit Card for 20 yrs. 2022 I was traveling, using this CC and when I got to the hotel, my cc of over 20 yrs would not work.
      I called and was informed by a Comenity representative that the cc was purchased by them. I was also informed a new card had been mailed to me which I have yet to receive. Luckily I had used another cc to book the reservation and the desk clerk was kind enough to allow my daughter to send a picture of the other card or I would have spent the night in my car. The representative was very rued. I could not remember the name when I got home to cancel the card. I have just now (2024) received something in writing where I could proceed to cancel the card. I wrote them and then had to call after receiving a letter from them to do so. Luckily I pay my cc off every month or I would have no telling how much $ in interest charges.

      This company Is the WORST TO DEAL WITH for any financial services they been charging me late fees for a loan that has never been late. They say that the issue is with their billing system and its nothing they can do so now they increased my monthly charge an additional $60.00. I have an agreement with them on a 60-month term and they broke the agreement because I was making bi-weekly payments. If i could give them a zero I would this financial institution is dead to me.

      Horrible horrible. I mailed my payment in plenty of time and never received information that they didn’t receive it, so I incurred $63 in late fees and they continued to blame it on the post office. Stay away!!!

      These people are Scammers!! I set up payments with them for my final 3 payment and they did all but $10 and then didn’t reach out and charged me $140 dollars in late fees 4 months later. If I ever want financing again and they are the only people to fund it, I would walk away no matter how much I wanted the deal to go through.

      This company Is the WORST TO DEAL WITH. OVERCHARGED ALMOST $3000 WITH FINANCING COMPANY THRU COMMENITY. HOLDING MY MONEY HOSTAGE I HAVE CALLED EVERYDAY FOR A MONTH. YOU GET DIFFERENT STORIES. TALKED OVER HUNG UP ON. TELL ME IT WILL BE DIRECT DEPOSITED BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT...NOPE 10 MORE BUSINESS DAYS! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! SCAMMERS!

      I have a Lane Bryant card through them. I paid it off in January. Paid the balance showed on the statement. Then forgot it because IT WAS PAID OFF. This month I got an email showing I had a balance of $27 and change. What? Someone must have stolen my card. Nope. I check the Feb statement (the one after it was paid off ) and it showed prev bal $199.91. Payment of $199.91. Interest charged $4.77. When it wasn’t paid I incurred a late charge and more interest. Then a second month. All of this after I paid it off. Well I went ahead and paid. But I sent them a message requesting clarification. We will see what they say. I am closing the card and will not be shopping at Lane Bryant unless they change banks.
