I haven't done business with this bank but they reported that I was behind in payments to credit bureaus causing my credit score to drop. When I researched the company the phone number for the bank was a bogus number and when I emailed them, the mail was undeliverable. I am not sure how to clear this from my credit reports but the credit bureaus SHOULD have some way of knowing when a report is bogus.

Very dishonest lender. I took out a 12 month no interest loan for some dental work. I didn’t necessarily need to, but I figured I would take advantage of their promotion. Right as I get my last statement and bill, I noticed my promotion ended and 30% back interest was tacked on. It’s a 12 month loan but you get your first bill 6 weeks after the purchase date so really, you have to pay it back in 11 payments. It should be called an 11 month loan. I called everyone I could from the bank and nobody was willing to make it right. They just told me a lot of things to cover themselves, ie the billing cycle ended 1 day before my purchase, that’s why I got the bill 6 weeks after the promotion started, ie I had a 3 day grace period to dispute the charges even though I got my bill 5 days after that grace period, so unfortunately they could not help me. I’m posting this hoping that anyone who reads this will not use this company. Don’t make the mistake that I did.

My Dell Preferred Account was took over by Comenity Capital Bank. Comenity Capital Bank is now telling me that I have to mail them a copy of my SSN card in order to make a purchase from Dell. Dell sent a letter through the mail saying my Dell Pay Credit Account is through Comenity with a new # ready for use. I have never known a credit card company to be took over by some other company and need your personal information again. When I recently tried to make the purchase I started receiving emails saying there is a problem with the payment going through and none of the emails had Comenity Bank anywhere in the email address. Also, when my yearly subscription was charged Comenity Bank had no problem charging this card then when they did not have a copy of my SSN card. This company does not seem legit. When talking to them on the phone or corresponding through email something seems severely off. Beware.

Money grubbing, life sucking company. Surprise added interest charges. If I had known it was coming I could have paid it all off sooner. Supposed to be a 4 year low interest loan but they snuck some bs promotional junk in there and started charging ridiculous interest. Horrible sneaky company.

They are the most despicable Bank I have dealt with. They call and say I owe them money but I don't. So I keep getting these calls that say I owe them money. When I answer they hang up. They never picked up my last payment on an ACH item even after 60 days. Then they say I'm late because they didn't pick up the ACH item. Which was the last payment. I have sent them proof that I paid several times. Sent a check to clear all this up and they still didn't cash it for over a month. I have sent them proof 3 times and 4 times will be mailed tomorrow. What ever you do, do not trust this bank.

This is a shady business and their business practices are incredibly illegal. They created finance charges out of nowhere. I paid off my balance in full and they are still applying a finance charge. The government needs to look into this and hold them accountable for their shady dealings. It's unreal and their customer service is meant to confuse you even more. This whole organization is a scam. One star is way too generous.

NEEDS TO BE A ZERO!! Comenity Capital Bank is absolutely trying to entrap you in there ridiculously high interest cards. Giving you zero interest for a grace period and then, knowing you will never be able to pay it off. Then when you miss a payment or don't pay it off in time, charge you the 30% interest rates, on a revolving credit account, where you are constantly chasing your tail trying to zero out the account and close it. It took me 3 tries to finally COMPLETELY pay off and close this stupid account! Each time got a letter saying your account is paid off and zero balance. Then get another bill in the mail for a interest charge for $2.00 on a zero balance. They are just hoping you lose the letter and then they charge you a late fee and another 30% interest. I know loan sharks who are cheaper and more forgiving than this.
I'm sick of these companies knowingly taking advantage of small consumers with not much credit to begin with. They only want to trap you, and keep your credit score terrible, so you can only keep using there services.
      Terrible!!!!!

Was a week late paying bill, paid statement balance. The next bill had the late fee, finance, and new charges. Paid new full balance on time, received another finance charge. Called customer support and spoke with *****. She was very rude, cutting me off while in my first sentence. She acted as if I owed her the $4.59 personally and was getting angry with me. In the end, the charges were reversed however, I am reconsidering using any of my Comenity Bank cards and would tell others to avoid them. I have had this platinum level card for over 20 years and am rarely late. She spoke down to me like I was a lying child. She really sounded like she has personal issues at home and took them out on me. After this bad experience along with many others, I am not supporting Comenity or any of the stores that use their credit cards.

I called to ask what charges were paid out to Aspen Dental.
I was coerced to take out a loan for 2598.00 to cover intended dental work by Aspen Dental.
I left the Aspen Dental months ago due to they did not tell me a dentist that pulled my tooth was not covered by my dental plan and added 424.00 to the loan.
The person I spoke with told me they do not have information regarding payouts to Aspen Dental
I can't believe that they only have the total owed by me and nothing else - $1600.00
They did some cleaning and pulled the tooth.
I believe that they work together with Aspen Dental to take more money than they are owed or they would be forthcoming

I would not even give them a One rating. Ive always paid my bills on time and full amount. Started getting hit with late charges. Said it takes three weeks for paymt to get to them. I have my last invoice showing full AMT received and two lines under shows same AMT owed?? Have statement from **** showing DO NOT PAY in the AMT box. I have a letter from Comenity Bank saying they received that pymt for full AMT but says I still owe that AMT?? Ive been getting harassing calls every two hours for days after id spoke to one and told him to contact Ulta because they had made a mistake and I had my proof of pymt. I told him to stop calling . I'd even send copies to Ulta to their corporate office
