Company has zero business in working with consumers when they can not and will not acknowledge fault, specifically when a supervisor wants to quote policy but not acknowledge the steps that have brought us to the scenario. Customer Service associate apologies for delivery issue that they system has created, I can confirm through documentation that was provide to myself per the 24 hour prior notification of delivery that I have confirmed the window. Inside of the 24 hour notice window, quoited by the supervisor, they change the time of delivery. I have documentation of an agreed upon window, with zero disclosure by Value City or the third party delivery company that this time could change with out my confirmation. If I am not able to take delivery, then I as the customer will be responsible for additional fees based off an error that they admitted to making. On a recorded line, which they confirmed multiple times. I would caution for any customer requesting delivery, that they plan accordingly to have the window changed at zero notice and be able to accept the delivery or be prepared to pay a new delivery fee or at worse a restocking fee of the items.American Signature Inc.

I ordered a dining room table and chairs. They called to say two chairs weren’t shipped, and we would have to schedule another delivery date for next week. The delivery truck arrives with my table and two chairs. Both chairs damaged, and weren’t brand new, but used. Really used. I took pictures and so did the driver. I told him to take the chairs back. Brandon, from the warehouse called me to inform me they don’t take chairs off the showroom floor for delivery. Funny, when I arrived at the store yesterday, there was only one chair at the display table. The Manager, Dawn, interrupted our conversation to take a call from Brandon’s boss at the warehouse. Ruse and disrespectful. So for those of you who know me, know I was heated. I informed Dawn they will need to schedule the delivery on my time not theirs, and I wouldn’t be taking off work again for a botched delivery. Don’t buy from them. This is the second time I’ve experienced this with Value City. They won’t get a third. Oh, and the technician can’t come until June 11th to fix the manufactures flaw. So that’s 5/22, 5/30 and 6/11 I have to take time from work to be home. They offered no discount, had poor customer service and when I called corporate they weren't much better, just giving out dates of when they could fix the problems.American Signature Inc.

Met a young lady named Patrice at the location in Mentor Ohio. She was very polite and kind. I was not sure about the furniture set I wanted so I asked her opinion and she gave me great advice. Her customer service was amazing. Top of the line customer service.American Signature Inc.

during the pandemic i brought a 3-piece leather Modula called the happy Family i also brought the 5 year protection plan Pure Promise during this time the delivery date was held back because no delivery people plus the rt module of the sofa was on back order i was told it would take a while due to the virus also manufacture was close so i would have to wait until they went back to work i was ok with that i made payments while the items where on hold during this i also purchased king bed Santa rosa white bedroom set 2-11-2022 all items weren't delivered to my home on 8-2020 the items were delivered i put a claim in for the rt end of the sofa made squeaking when sitting down when making the claim in saw my furniture protection plan ends this month May 2024 i paid for a 5 year warranty from 2-11-2022 to 2-11-25 how is it that it expires in 4 years i need someone to come out a check the sofa and correct the problem also fix the expiration date of my warrantyAmerican Signature Inc.

Valué city has no commitment to what it is told to its customers. Purchased was made 2/17/24, furniture was promised it would be available for pickup 3/01/24. Since then, it’s been an awful experience getting what you paid for. Til this date, furniture has not been available for pickup. Customer service has called me 3 times changing dates as to when it will be available, as of know am told it will be ready for pickup 5/30/24. It’s been 90 days with no truth from VCF.American Signature Inc.

The employee lied and said if anything happens to the furniture it will be repaired 7 - 10 days. After a month the service guy came out and said the parts will be here 7-10 days and now it’s been a month and Value City told us it will take 8-12 weeks for the parts to get here. Their furniture is junk and so is the warranty and customer service. Call the warranty company they say call the store and vice versa.American Signature Inc.

If i could give ZERO stars i would have.
Bought our furniture almost two yrs ago. Bought the extended warranty with that purchase. Buyer beware. This is available thru a third party. Value city will wash their hands with helping you after the 1yr mfg warranty expires. Go to the better business bureau website and read reviews before you purchase. Everything has to be done thru website.. and pics you send. But in my case SOMETHING was causing my issue with the two connecting pcs. Maybe it was accidental.. due to it being a sectional the pcs attach to one another..I don't know if the pcs didn't get attached correctly?? But that's the case wouldn't that be accidental causing the pcs to tear??dunno because they wouldn't send anyone to VERIFY if it was actually normal wear and tear or ACCIDENTALLY put together wrong. If it was accidental it would be covered??? Because normal wear and tear is NOT covered.. but if someone could see it in person THEY could decide what it truly is.. NOT the case with this their warranty company. Sure if you want to pay for someone else.. ANOTHER third party company.. they'll fix it but your paying for it. Soooo good luck with your purchase and hope you never have to use that extended warranty.. my advice.. read the bbb complaintsAmerican Signature Inc.

I went to fall church 5/8/2024 to purchase a sofa from value city which the price on the sofa was mark in a errors on there side so the manager will not honor the price as mark he was rude and unprofessional I’m aware value city bankrupt back in 2008 which they was able to keep the name and stay relevant there new name is American Signature Furniture. So stop patronizing these stores that’s not respectful know when they made a mistake to the customersAmerican Signature Inc.

I've never worked with a more unprofessional company in my life. Everything from beginning to end (and it's still not over) has been a complete nightmare. I ordered a chair in February to be delivered 3/8 (per the website when I ordered). The date was confirmed when they called to schedule the delivery 3 days prior. Shortly after that conversation, the store called and said they had to push the delivery to 3/21 because the product they were selling on the website was out of stock. The second delivery date rolls around and the same thing: they called the week of March 21 to confirm delivery and then called shortly after that conversation to tell me again that the product was out of stock. Rescheduled for 5/2. The same thing happens on 4/29. Confirmed delivery only to call 10 minutes later to tell me the product I ordered in February couldn't be delivered until 6/5 making it the 4th reschedule. Each time they've told me the product is "out of stock," however, they continue to sell that product on the site day after day. Each time they've rescheduled the delivery, the website has updated with the new date. After the fourth reschedule date, I checked the site and the delivery date was posted as 5/8 - a full month before I was told my chair would arrive. I called and explained the situation, asking if it was true that they had product they could deliver on 5/8 rather than having to wait another month for a chair I ordered in February. I was told they could deliver on 5/8, and that delivery window has already been updated 6 times today. It's clear they're selling product to walk ins for commission rather than taking care of those of us who don't want to be swindled by a furniture salesman so order online. This company is disgraceful. Knowingly selling a product that's out of stock is shameful. I'm hopeful the chair arrives today, however, I will continue posting this review where I can to warn future customers of their inability to sell and deliver product ethically.American Signature Inc.
