      I had an extremely disappointing experience at Vinci Nail Lounge located on ********** in ***********/ ***************. Particularly, during a ************* with an employee named ********, who claimed to be the manager. During my visit, ******** made several inappropriate and offensive remarks, including a racist comment: I heard Black people dont use medicine. This comment made me feel deeply uncomfortable, and I decided to stop engaging with her much socially for the remainder of the appointment. Additionally, she made unkind remarks about my nails, which I shared I bite, further adding to my discomfort.When I returned to the salon for a nail repair about five days later, ******** continued to make similar inappropriate and offensive remarks. I tried to empathize with her situation, as she shared her father was battling cancer, and even offered her the opportunity to reschedule if she wasnt in the right frame of mind to work. However, after a few more nails came off, I called the salon to inquire about another repair. I was shocked to discover that she had blocked my number from contacting or visiting all locations of the salon, despite my willingness to pay for the repair.I believe this behavior is unprofessional, discriminatory, and unacceptable. As a woman of color, I would not recommend that anyone visit this salon or seek services there, particularly given the hostile and cliquish environment I experienced. I hope this feedback prompts action to ensure other customers do not face similar treatment.
