      I had the tiniest of rock chips in my brand new Toyota RAV4. I have used Safelite and had a good experience in the past in California and Arizona.
      I called them and couldn’t get an appointment for them to come to the house for three days. I left my RAV4 in the garage and didn’t drive it anywhere at all for that time. The guy showed up five minutes before the appointment was to end and didn’t even stay for 15 minutes. I was promised the rock chip was sealed and it would not spread further. In addition to the $178 and change we paid we also tipped him $20. Within a 30 day period, I noticed that there was a split from the rock chip going down the windshield and one going up and to the right right where the chip was that he supposedly repaired. I called headquarters. They told me they call this “failed repair”. I was told they cannot re-repair the windshield but the $178 would go towards a new windshield. I don’t understand why they don’t guarantee their work and now I feel that they have taken me for a ride just to force me to buy new glass from them which is way more expensive. I just wanted a small rock chip repair. Now I have to buy a new windshield but I will not get it through Safelite just on principle. I want a refund. The manager of the local Waco Texas shop promised my husband he would approve the refund but it never came back to my credit card. Please beware of using Safelite if you have a rock chip. There are other companies that will fix it and guarantee their work I have now learned. Safelite apparently just wants to force people to replace the glass which is far more expensive. It was a huge waste of time and now a huge waste of money. They’ve also lost a customer for life. I’m still going through my credit card company now to get the credit back I was promised but never came for an admitted “failed repair”.

      No stars they installed my glass very poorly. It had waves in there. I had a second opinion, and today they were supposed to replace it at no cost to me and did not unprofessional people. Bad quality of glass.

      After what should have taken 3 hours turned into five because they were going to refuse changing my glass due to the fact that there were old codes that they read from my truck I ended up having to take my truck to the dealership for them to give me confirmation that there was nothing wrong with my truck and then drive back to safe light with proof
      There was nothing wrong they finally decided to put in a new windshield fast forward two about 2 weeks later I noticed a defect in the windshield called safelite and did but get a call back about the problem for a week finally someone called back and now I have to go through the whole process of getting my windshield replaced again if they would’ve just taken the five minutes to see that there was a defect with the windshield I wouldn’t be where I today with the problem also want to add the fact that they disconnected my windshield, washer, fluid line and forgot to reinstall it and they told me my truck windshield was done over all this has become a nightmare all they had to do was let me know the windshield was defective to begin with dealing with this company is a nightmare and I will hopefully never have to deal with them again

      Technician left multiple scratches and gouges in the interior leather of my truck after having to drive it to their Roseville MN location for help fixing a latch in the door. I called to report damage the next day with their customer service team. I was told there will be someone to reach out and help with the damage. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard back from Safelite.

      On May 18th, I had an appointment scheduled with your company for a technician to arrive between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. However, as of 12:36 PM, the technician had not arrived. I contacted the customer service number provided in the email to inquire about the status of my appointment.
      The customer service representative informed me that the technician was delayed and would arrive within the next one to two hours. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of communication regarding the delay, as I had been waiting for the technician's arrival and had not been able to rest due to my work schedule. I also reminded the representative of the California law regarding four-hour windows for services.
      I requested to speak to a manager, but the representative informed me that the office was not answering the phones. Unfortunately, after our conversation, the customer service representative canceled my service without my consent.

      Current situation ??
      I planned my whole day around a 4:00 appt to get my windshield replaced (I-10 is horrendous!! 4 cracks from that road!!
      Waited a month for my appointment because they lost the original order!!
      I get there and they tell me the glass is in BUT the molding is not. SO…. I have to wait another week!! AND…. the manager acted like I was being unreasonable because I was angry.
      I asked them…. Couldn’t you have called me this morning and told me this?????? They said no… we don’t unwrap it until you get here so we wouldn’t know.

      If I could give them 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Made an appointment based on insurance recommendation. I dropped my car off night before as instructed. Get a call next day that the part came in broken. I asked why they didn’t inform me sooner so I didn’t drop my car off. They said the parts come in the morning of the service (how does that make any sense?). So I pick up my car and tell them to order another part and then I’ll come back. Made my 2nd appt. I arrived 18 minutes late due to heavy traffic and the complete lack of parking spaces in their lot. I was informed that they have a 15 minute grace period (of which I was not informed) and they would not service my car. I asked to speak to a manager and was told “I’m all you got”. So needless to say, I will not be giving this company any of my money. Ever. Next time I’ll listen to the bad reviews.

      Trashed my brand new 2023 Jeep having the windshield replaced.
      Took months to get figured out and some kind of resolution. Management has attitude and clearly doesn’t want to rectify their errors. Warranty my ass! Who’s going to replace my $30k vehicle!

      I’ve spent so much frustration with Safelite auto glass in the last month. They replaced my windshield and gave me low quality workmanship. They won’t stand behind their guarantee.
      I wouldn’t use safelite auto glass in Lexington. I’m trying to figure out how to leave a bad review online.
      I’m fanatical about my new vehicle and this is very disappointing.

      Rearranged my whole day to drop off my vehicle and get a ride, etc. Arrived at 0930 as instructed, had to grab a few things I needed for work from the car, had 3 or 4 safelite employees walk past me , nothing said. My point is they knew I was there. When I went inside to sit my stuff down, it was 0940. A lady who Identified herself as the manager, ******** ********, asked my name and if I had an appointment. I said yes, all day drop off. She rudely responded, “Your late! You’re gonna have to schedule, the car has to be here by 0930, we have 8 to do. I asked her if all 8 customers had already dropped off their cars and she said yes. Since it was the beginning of the day, couldn’t she just put me last? Since all 8 of us were there, what was the issue, my car would just be sitting in the lot waiting anyway. She rudely stated that’s our policy, take it or leave it. She then asked if I wanted to reschedule, but I refused. It should be noted that the past 2 times I set up appointments Safelite cancelled because the glass arrived broken. ( supposedly). I know it’s hard to find good people nowadays, but this woman was outright mean, rude, uncaring, and lacks common sense and has no customer service skills . Will never use Safelight again, Avoid this location.
