      I had my windshield replaced by Mario 4/4/22.
      When I set up the appointment I let the lady know I had a tint strip on my windshield. There was no tint strip on the replacement window. I told the tech who had no valid response. This is an important feature living in hot and sunny Az. The tech did not properly reinstall my wiper blades so they hit each other when used. I attempted to call multiple times but could not get through since it recognized I recently had a replacement and referred me to the website. I left a voicemail to which I never received a response to this day. I will never use Safelite again.

      Started with home appointment to replace windshield on my Range Rover. They were unable to replace the window because it was due for a servicing and had that notification on the system. I think they should have known about that ahead of time and asked. I rescheduled at my home and they brought a windshield that had a damage in it. It was small and down on the very bottom corner so I said okay I've already spent how much time on the phone with nobody EVER ANSWERING AT CORPORATE OR A STORE. So I went ahead with the install. Driving later that day on the freeway and one of the trim pieces almost flew off as they did not install it correctly. Several days later we had rain and my rain sensors were completely messed up. It has taken me five visits to the store and in the beginning many phone calls after learning nobody ever answers a phone. The techs have always been very nice but nice just doesn't cut it. I'll never go back to Safelite for anything!

      First time having to repair a windshield for rock damage through USAA which I have been with for 19 years. They have a contract with safelite which took me to their website. I scheduled an appointment on their online website and was contacted back by a rep stating they had to order the windshield first. I was rescheduled for 6-9-23 between the hours of 8-5 (a Friday). No call, message, text, email etc from the technician. A whole day wasted waiting and still have a busted windshield. I had trouble getting ahold of anyone after 5 on a Friday and was told they couldn’t get in contact with the technician. The local shop out of OKC contacted me the next day and stated we see your technician reached out to you and you needed to reschedule. I told him the tech didn’t reach out to me and what happened and he stated that’s not what he was told. I’m disappointed with this place and the first time ever using them. I will be letting USAA know they need to stop recommending safelite.

      Had a chip less then 1/2in repaired, the technician was alone and had multiple jobs going on at once. He installed the chip repair suction and walked away. Minutes later the suction pops off the window and puts resin all over my window. He rushes over to clean the window and the 1/2 chip is now 32inches across my window. After speaking to other windshield companies, I found out the tech is suppose to watch the chip and if it starts to spread during the repair he can stop the repair. The manager of the shop finally agreed to give me his supervisors number so we can get a window replacement and resolve this issue. Come to find out the number he gave me was not a safelite employee, it was his buddy pretending. This was handled terribly!!! Now no one from safelite will respond to my calls.

      I had my windshield replaced and less than two months later had two large rock chips in it caused by very small rocks. These rocks were the size of a BB and I was not going very fast. I contacted safelite only to be told the warranty doesn't cover chips. I paid over $500 for this windshield and it was not good glass. The customer service rep told me the glass is made to federal regulations. I highly doubt that considering the original windshield went 15 years without a chip frommuch larger rocks. I will never recommend safelite to anyone. Substandard product and even worse customer service.

      I signed up online to have a cracked windshield replaced (12 to 15" crack) on my 97-year-old father's car. Technician called the day of appointment and showed up on-time/early. He was polite and courteous. However, he did not have the correct windshield with him even though I had supplied the model number and VIN online. The technician said they had to order it and it would be 3 to 5 days. I was disappointment because my dad had blocked off the afternoon to be at this house. My compliant is that when my 97-year-old father needed to check on the status the windshield he was not able to get in touch with anyone via phone. The automated number kept going in circles and he was referred to go online repeatedly. I found the service order and it gave a local number. I called it and it went back to the automated number telling me to go online. This appears to be some sort of age discrimination because not everyone can go online and chat with someone. They need to be able to talk to someone. SO, I had to go online and chat with someone who then could not look it up the information but then gave me a number to call. I called that number and the guy was able to schedule me for next week. The local service appears to be great, but Poor Corporate Service.

      horrible communication, actually no communication.
      5 appointments scheduled now, unfortunately my insurance(****) forces customer to use safelite.
      5 times i have had appointment in the last 3 months
      5 times they dont have the glass,
      I have learned to schedule at 10:00 am so I can call when they open to confirm they have the glass, so far they havent .
      they dont bother to call me day before or day of to even tell me they dont have it, I schedule off work to get this dont as it has to be done in shop for calibration.
      This company does not care, there is nothing in place for the customer to be notified in advance , big disconnect, good luck talking to a human if you have a problem
