      Incompetent and awful customer service. 1st tech came to change a cracked driver side window, then it kept making a cracking sound when rolling up and down. 3 techs at 3 different times came to "repair" the cracking sound, none of them fixed it. Finally went to an actual shop, then was told it needed to be replaced again, but is now on the 15th day and still waiting for the replacement to come in. Do not be fooled by their advertisement! Useless! Unfortunately there is no "0" star rating, "1" star is too much.

      Safelite scratched my vehicle and has done nothing but put grey primer on my white car to make it look even bigger. I have had no communication what so ever, and every time you try to call the store the phones don't work.

      Safelite has a poor quality service system or poor reporting. For the second time in as many weeks the flunkees (techs is too kind) have ordered the wrong windshield glass for my vehicle even though they had the VIN number for my vehicle. I made arrangements twice which consumes my valuable time, and the first time the flunkees failed to verify they had inventory and the second they showed up with the incorrect glass. Both last minute and both easily avoidable. My time is valuable, I cannot imagine that the CEO of safelite would not be irate if she scheduled two appointments and both were cancelled at the last minute. This "should" be embarrassing to Safelite.

      Have used Safelite for many years on different vehicles for glass replacement, especially windshields. recently, had a small rock chip that a tech said was repairable so scheduled a appt. for repair. day of repair, tech said pressure of machine used for repair destroyed windshield ( caused large cracks which are getting worse & multiplying ) and now I need to replace the windshield. as paying out of pocket, will cost me over $ 700.
      AM NOT HAPPY WITH SAFELITE > DID NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILTY FOR DESTROYING THE WINDSHIELD AND WAS TOLD NOT THEIR FAULT THEIR MACHINE CAUSED THE LOSS.

      If I could give a zero I would. Went thru the process of setting up an appointment and sent a photo. Company canceled the appointment and refused to work on our class A Rv because a step ladder may be needed. Plus they gave me one quote thru an email and after I set up the appointment the price was raised. They don’t want to earn 257 bucks. I can’t believe the canceled because of this.

      Safelite uses inferior glass! Less than 30 hours later, it cracked and split! Customer service sucks and all they wanted to do was argue!!! AARP in bed with these bums and are in cohoots! You call Hartford and it is Safelite answering their phones!! Waste of time and money! Wanted me to bring the car them, but had no problem coming out and billing almost 900.00 to Hartford to do the windshield!! Argumentative and just trashcustomer service people!! Liars and misleading individuals!! Run from these turds!!! NO STARS!!!!!!

      My windshield repair in May 2023 did not match what I was promised. I've contacted Safelite 3 times over a 3 week period and they have not followed-up with me. Now that they've been paid for the service, I'm unable to get any support for the poor repair that was done.

      Absolute unacceptable. I made an appointment a week out. They cancelled the morning of and told us the next available is not for another week, a day after we had a planned cross-country road trip for which we really need to have the windshield replaced. The manager was completely useless in working with our situation.

      I’ve had 2 different incidents with safelite first I had a guy name Allen comes out and do my windshield I goes to show him a email I received from safelite offering me a $80 off coupon off of my $250 deductible w/ a code! He then tells me I can’t use that code/coupon because it could be fraud then when I let him knew it was sent to me for my F250 truck in my email with my name. He goes to say oh you can only use that if you’re paying with cash I didn’t understand that at all.. 2nd incident they had to come back out and calibrate my window a guy name Dakota came out Stated he didn’t have the right tool he’ll come back out next business day earliest as 8am & no later than 1pm.. I waited around 5 hours invading in my day I didn’t hear from anyone until my daughter got a customer service tech on the phone name Matthew , he goes to tell us that Dakota canceled the appointment on their end because part wasn’t in.. I proceeded into telling Matthew it was unacceptable, miscommunication no one reached out to let me know the appointment was cancel what can he do to accommodate me with everything that has happened. He states he could set me up with a new appointment days later knowing anything could go wrong with me operating this truck while it’s not calibrated the risk I’ll be taking. I don’t recommend this company to nobody at all! What I went through with this whole process and nothing to be done about my situation is very disturbing! I hope to hear from someone soon .

      5/24/23-Bottom line, don't take a Subaru to Safelite specifically ***** * **** **** ******* ** ***** . We had 3 visits, and still not fixed. Had an apt 4/12/23 to replace the windshield with OEM glass and have eyesight recalibrated. Windshield was replaced with aftermarket glass, and we were told they had to order parts to recalibrate the system and come back in a week. They committed FRAUD at this point for billing for OEM and installing Aftermarket. We went back a week later 4/19/23 to have the system calibrated, and after an hour we were called to pick up the car and directed to the dealer to have eyesight codes cleared, out of pocket ($300) because they won't calibrate a system with existing codes, no codes were present and the system was fully operational when dropped off on 4/12/23 and any issue with the system was caused by them in replacing it. We contacted (5/6/23) Safelite (*****) and explained they caused the codes by not recalibrating after the windshield replacement. We were told they had to issue a credit to the insurance carrier, and a new work-order had to be generated, and I would get a call back in 2-3 days. On 5/15/23, I called back,
      (****) and they apologized for not contacting me, and an appointment was made for 5/23/23 to do the work. They replaced the glass with OEM finally but couldn't recalibrate the eyesight system. This location is inept from top to bottom, and we have had to clear our schedules on 3 days to have a windshield replaced. We now have to go to a dealer to have the system fixed, a 4th day that has to be cleared. *****, the manager, is condescending to young females and, when confronted, is evasive with answers. He refused to provide his managers name and contact information and provided the 1-800 number to warranty, I was on the phone listening to how he spoke to my daughter and the answers he gave her.
      Pick a different installer or go to the dealer. These guys are looking for a quick turnaround and do incomplete work.
