In November 2023, BBB investigated New Business Filing’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by a large number of complaints, consumer inquiries, and customer reviews at BBB. Specifically, within the complaints and customer reviews, consumers report they believe they are working with their state secretary of state or licensing division to renew their state registration or license but inadvertently end up filing through this business website instead. In December of 2023, BBB checked the website (https://newbusinessfiling.org/) to determine when it was created and where it was registered. The website was created on 2/17/2019 and the registrant name/information was not disclosed. In December of 2023 and again in April of 2024, your BBB reached out to New Business Filing in writing via email, postal mail and by phone seeking background information on this business. To date, BBB has not received a response from the business. Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot state with confidence that we have a clear understanding of the business practices.
