Vinebrook homes in Huber heights, OH. our AC went out Thursday 6/13/24 , maintenance guy Karl came out Friday 6/14/24 replaced blower in furnace and it blew. Told us he would provide a 5,000 btu portable ac. He told us they will come out Monday 6/17/24 but if it gets too hot before then we can call the emergency number for more portable ac or window units. We have tried getting ahold of them and they keep telling us they will get to us asap. There's no emergency for these maintenance "guys". we have a new born and its in the high 90s. I had to buy a window unit to keep us by and it's not enough to keep the baby cool. I hate it here do not rent from these guys. They do not care about you. if I could give a negatife rate I would.

From my dad in Dayton Ohio : I Want Your Company To Know How Disappointed I Am With The Way You Operate Your Business. I Put Down 845.00 On June 10th To Hold A Home For My Daughter And Granddaughter And Myself, We Couldn't Come Up With The Move, Which Is 1581.00 . How Can Your Company Be So Heartless As To Keep My 845.00 Deposit! I Didn't Take Possession Of Any Keys. This Is How Your Company Treats Veterans. Or Just Certain Veterans? One Of Your Employees Had Me Sign The Lease After Giving Her My Deposit Which I Thought Was Odd. What American In This Day And Age Just Gives 845.00 Without Anything In Return. . My Name Is Dwayne O****** And I'm Hoping To Get A Clear Cut Response On This Matter.

I move from one of Vinebrook Homes here in Montgomery, Al. Had to move out 6 month before the lease expired with a roommate that removed all my information from the portal. I communicated all information to Frederick Harvey who is employed with Vinebrook Homes of the situation and why I had to moved. Got a letter from the courts they were suing me for 1019.00 because the other party stayed in the home after I moved. The other party left there personal items in the home and would not contact Vinebrook to gain access of the home. This company reported I owe them 10, 500.00, which is false information. The other party left most of their property at the home I was speaking to Frederick Harvey to advise, the parties that was left in the home cut off all communication with me. This company is reporting false information on previous tenants credit and also donot maintained maintenance such as air, plumbing and things that are a necessity for a better and healthy way of living.

DO NOT RENT FROM VINEBROOK!! They are horrible back when we had the Tornado on Memorial Day , it messed up my house where animals and etc was getting inside. I tried for months and even have proof for them to fix my house and they didn’t! My lease was up in October so I left a month before because the house was completely not safe for me and my child to live in with rodents!! I called for 5 month straight and the only thing I kept hearing was it’s out of a big claim and it’s still pending! If I know better I should have put all my money into escrow and sued! All they want is MONEY THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING!!

Vibebrook Homes LLC is Very unprofessional service.. they keep finding stuff as you go along of staying on their properties. My rent started off 1,135 to 1,235 far as the utilities they don't show you the water bill unless you asked most of the times they won't tell you or put it in the ledger and to find out paying two months worth of water bill they said we do t have the rights to the bills unless you email them to get a bill after they paid two months and we have to reimburse them. You don't talk to the real ppl just the answering service that clearly don't know what's going on. Maintanance can't fix things properly it's like this house is a bandaid house. They will apply late fee if rent after 4th each month and harassing you with evictions of 1-5 days after rent is late.. which in the state of Pennsylvania you can't do that without proper proceedings. I wish I known this before I renewed my lease with them plus I just found out they have major lawsuits in different states and taking advantage of ppl and their money.. you can't tell them they're breaking any laws... lease do not rent for them and they will increase your rent soo high...

I am currently renting a house from Vinebrook my air unit went out and we immediately notified them by email because you can never reach anyone. The temp inside of the home has reached 89 degrees and this is day 2. No phone call to say when they were coming to fix the unit, no text nothing and as a cancer patient it is starting to affect my health. I am feeling dizzy and vomitting due to the heat. My husband has a fan in our room but it is not helping in this large house. We need our unit fixed and don't know who to contact for assistance. I would have had it fixed myself but because I am on a fixed income and disabled my money can only go so far. This would ridiculous that they would let a good paying tenant suffer in the heat like this.

I have been living in my home since 2019...MY rent was 1280...Vinebrook has raised my rent considerably due to me being on a month to month lease..(now they want $1735)...they have cut off my utilities and put them in thier name and being double charged! This is a problem cause you have to pay them cause they add it all to your rent and charge you...without you seeing a bill. I have asked numerous times about a sewer bill that never existed until Vinebrook took over! Last month I paid 1640 ...this month they say I owe 2020...I talked to Mailka in customer service..she was helpful but not to the point I even understand what is going on....I contacted the Attorney General ..of course Vinebrook has a lawyer who responded very rudely and said they have the right to raise my rent to twice as much! This is beyond ridiculous I have been a good tenant and this treatment like many other complaints I see similar should be against the law...they are scamming hard working citizens out of there money and since no average tenant can probably afford a lawyer they are taking advantage of people.

Trash. They deny almost everyone, just take your application fee money with no real denial reasoning. They’re taking over all these homes but won’t rent to anyone. Crazy to me.

My home was originally owned by Don Wright when I moved in June 2018. This was until Vinebrook bought them in 2021. My rent was raised considerably, the maintenance man sexually harassed and verbally assaulted my son. I was given new windows because my others wouldn't close and they were only partially installed and today i was told I have to move by July 17 because my lease won't be renewed. BTW my house was sold again to their sub group in January 2024. They have sent me several emails telling me I have to turn my house in to them in Vinebrook colors even though it has never been painted vinebrook colors and is still the color that it was when I moved in. Things aren't fixed, have never been repaired or completed and now I am being forced to move without reason.
