On October 30, 2023 accidentally placed an order at the wrong location and made several attempts to reach out to customer service and was on hold well over 20 minutes and tried filling out their online form but their website is not recognizing the restaurant number. I went to the Wendy's located at 1535 NE 181st Portland, Or 97230 on 10/29/23 at around 9:45pm. I had a coupon, so I asked a question about the coupon. They had two people on the mic a male and female, and they both answered at the same time. I asked if only one could speak so I could understand. I then asked for a chicken sandwich. I asked if Lettuce and tomato came on the sandwich the lady said NO, so I asked what comes on it, and she said Lettuce and Tomato, and I said I just asked you that and you said NO, but nevertheless I placed my order. I get to the window, and there is an older lady at the window collecting payment, she then begins to tell me how chicken sandwich and burger is not the same. I advise to her I am aware of that, and I don't need her to talk to me like I am stupid, I know the difference. She said then kept trying to tell me the difference, and I told her I have a Master's degree I know what a chicken sandwich is, she apparently took exception to that. I only said it because I was tired of her talking to me like I was stupid. She was like well you can take your master degree to Applebee's, and get out of her line. I got my CC from her she then called me a *****, and flipped me off with both fingers. I get to the window to pick up my food. I asked to speak to manager, and the lady that just called me a ***** is in the background cussing and calling me names. The manager blamed me, and the manager said just take your money back, she then snatched my receipt and gave me my money. I asked for the corporate name the manager said they are not part of corporate, and slammed the window in my face. I tried to ask the other workers their names, they lady at the window said her name was ******, then she was like I guess who knows, and she slammed the window closed. I think it is horrible they way I was treated, and they don't care cause it seems like they wont get in trouble or addressed, but it need to be addressed. They were horrible!Initial Complaint

First and foremost I would like to say that I've been coming to this location in Chesterfield Missouri for the better part of 5 years. That ends yesterday 23 October 2024
I went in there today to order a number eight with no tortilla chips and instead of the burger to substitute it with a spicy chicken.
The attendant at the time told me that they cannot do that and I mentioned that I have done it before and then she called me a FOOL. I will not be returning to this location.
Not that it would matter but I am going to also inform my friends and family of this little incident today that an employee likes to call patrons "FOOLS".

I initially made a purchase using one credit card on the amount of $40 to add to their Digital Account in the Wendy's Mobile App. It couldn't process the amount and failed, so I attempted 2 more times with the same credit. It failed all 3 times. Since it wasn't going through, I decided to try a different credit card as I thought it could be the first card that wasn't working. I tried just once with the second credit card and it also couldn't process the amount of $40. By now, I've tried 4 times, each $40 transaction totalling to $160. 2 days later I check my credit card transactions and I see the $120 charge (3 x $40) on one credit card and $40 charge (1 x $40) on the other credit card. I called Wendy's customer service and the agent said he couldn't see anything. I need this matter escalated and the charges reversed and the funds back to both of my credit cards.Customer Answer

Staff manager that was present was very rude and staff who gave me my order provided me wrong size for Frosty tried talking to present manager she was very dismissive. I can't talk to you right now we are extermely busy. I called the customer service when I left out. I talked to Woo and was told that I would get a credit in the amount of $22.74 on my Wendys account. I should go to other location on 15 Boston Post Rd and get my refund in person. I attempted and the refund never occured. I called back several times in September was told I was going to get a call back but never did. I'm getting the run aorund from this business on something that they told me that they were going to do for me on a recorded line. My children and I had eaten at Wendy’s yesterday at 5 PM. We ordered the seven dollar biggie bags two of them. We all shared and all of us woke up at midnight puking and profusely having diarrhea. I held my kids out of school today because they are both sick and I am still dealing with digestive issues i.e. cramps, and massive diarrhea.

On 9/17/23 at 946 pm I went through the drive through and I ordered one large chicken nugget meal, it’s usually $12.66. They charged me for the wrong meal, they charged me $37.19 instead. I didn’t realize it until the next morning when I got a notification from my bank. I called the store and they refused to help me. They made a mistake and won’t refund me. I ordered and received one meal, that’s it and instead I was charged for a different order with multiple meals that I never received. I want a refund for the difference of what I order and received and what I was charged for.
