I purchased a car on 10/21/24 and was provided a ****** report showing all the maintenance recently done. They stated the car had no known issues and everything was working perfectly. 3 days after purchase I went to have the oil changed and was informed of an oil leak coming from the oil pan seal. I went to the dealership where they claim the work was done, and sure enough, the service report shows "oil pan leaking" on 8/20/2024. I have asked the seller to reimburse me for the misinformation they provided and blatantly lying about known issues. They are now telling me that this issue was fixed by "their mechanic" but unable to provide any documentation or receipts. Ford dealer has verified that no work has been done to the oil pan or seal.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

The dealer re assured me that if I had any problems with the car even being sold as there would be NO out of pocket expense clearly they did not properly repair the car and knew the day it was Sold it was a Lemon the repairs that are needed to fix the car are the same repairs that caused the light to come on day of purchase The dealer claimed it was a sensor which was not true as is or not they did not resolve what they said they would Repair because they work with individuals who purchase from them . I do have a text message thread from the dealer as well the things they claimed they repaired are the same repairs Pep Boys says I need.

I bought a **** ***** **********. Larry A****** told me it was a great running car, and he showed me a ******. I took it to my repair shop. I picked up the car on the 16th. I took it to my repairman says it needs $4000 of work, and it has been in a couple of accidents. I did not put down any money. I financed $18,000.

how do I know that this mechanic is not taking advantage from the customer?

I nothing to damage the vehicle, yes I do some light mechanical work but not heavy mechanical.  The mechanics who looked at the vehicle are all licensed and the USA AUTO not trying to take my or his money  I would like monies to cover the expenses of the cost of repairs.  The ****** was worthless as the vehicle had been in many collisions.  Yes I did drive home at  slow pace as a few "targets" came up when I was on the road.   At this point in time I do not feel safe to drive the vehicle anywhere as the prop shaft bearing is badly worn and cold give out at any time.  Also the radiator leaks, plus other items that I could visually see.  The way in which Mr. K***** handled my and my wife's phone  calls was extremely rude, as he screamed at both me and my wife and hung up on us.

customer inspected the vehicle before purchase, all that of what he mentioned is incorrect

because he spent over 2 hours at the dealership, and he thoroughly inspected the car. And he even inspected the car on the while it was on the lift, and in detail

allegations are false, none of the what he is mentioning in the email was brought up when he inspected the vehicle.
