      Did not patch nor seal driveway correctly
      Horrible customer service
      Do not use them!

      I hired AA to seal a small parking area and re strip it for a new handicapped parking space layout.
      Todd the Owner of AA quoted me a larger project and I told him I just needed to do the 12 space and then change the layout.
      Todd said he would work it all out.
      I explained that I couldn't close down the entire are due to deliveries by the business.
      Todd came out to the site and spoke directly to my client who the told me how difficult Todd was when he was speaking with them.
      When they did do the work, they did not provide what was quoted in their proposal, didn't layout the new spaces per the drawing I provided and then didn't use the color they said they would use in their proposal.
      When I told Todd the layout was wrong, he told me it was correct and that they wouldn't change it.
      The parking area was designed by an Architect and a building permit was issued for the work.

      BEWARE; Based on my experience; I would not recommend (American Asphalt the asphalt experts PO Box 600 Chesterland Ohio), to anyone. Un-knowledgeable, Sloppy, tar on bottom of garage door, tar on sidewalk, tar on grass, driveway uneven, poor quality of materials used, not trustworthy. Just didn’t want them back in my yard or anything else to do with them. so I paid them. To go away. Had hidden 4% fee for using credit card. Should not be in Bussiness.

      It was late last season and AA was the only vendor still taking orders. I soon learned why to my sorrow. The work was done promptly, as promised. Unfortunately, it I felt it inferior. Specifically, there were many 1/4" or larger cracks unfilled. When I called the company, I was told they'd be out the next day to look. A month later, I called again. The same guy said they were busy and the snow made it difficult to see. I pointed out, it had only snowed twice in the preceding 30 days and it did not stick. He immediately got angry and said he'd send someone else out. That was over 4 months ago. Repeated calls to them have not been returned. My advice: use Vitale Asphalt or ANYONE else, or do it yourself. You'll be happier either way.
      "P.S." I wrote the above review several months ago. I assumed that would be the end of the issue. I erred. The other day AA placed their sign in my front yard and placed an envelope in my mail box for an estimate to repair my driveway. This is the same driveway they SAID they properly repaired less than 6 months before! In essence, they were admitting they did an especially poor job and I could pay several more thousand dollars to have them do it right!! And they are still in business? What a racket!!
