    I placed the order during the Black Friday sale and the order never been shipped. I had to call their customer service everyday and waited on hold for an hour every time. They said someone will get back to me by the end of the day but never did. No one responding to emails too. Finally after long period of waiting, they cancelled my order automatically and refunded the money to the card without even telling me. I called their line again and waited for another hour and the representative told me that they don’t have any of these in stock and they can’t honor the same price if they are getting more. It’s totally dishonest business practice and wasting of my time holding on hours of calls.

    I dislike leaving negative reviews, but when a LOT of money is spent for what you think is going to be a superior product (at least it used to be, apparently), and at a minimum the product comes with a good warranty... you think you are safe. Well, I discovered when the expensive blender has any issues, the warranty no longer exists.
    Somehow the blender lid allowed the clear plastic removable piece in the center to fall through the lid, during the blender's "Cleaning Cycle," and it fell into the inside of the blender cup during the cycle. The blades pulverized the clear plastic piece, bent the blades, and possibly damaged the base. I had literally only used the blender a handful of times.
    I contacted customer service, sending pictures and explaining the situation. They very nicely told me "thanks for admitting it was your fault and let us give you a few dollars off of a new blender." Huh?! Numerous times I explained this was in no way my fault (you don't touch the machine during the "cleaning cycle"), but then silence ensued... crickets.
    I will never again use, purchase, or recommend a Vitamix product. They do not stand behind their products. And as I have found during all of this, many many others have had the same experience. Sad.

    I purchased a new blender online and received the automated response. After several days, I still had not received an update or notice that my product had shipped. I tried to check the status online but that system wasn’t working and after repeatedly timing out, the website would come back with a “maintenance” message. I finally got through to a customer service rep on my second attempt. She could not tell me why my order wasn’t processed and indicated the item was in stock. She said she would follow up and call back with a status. I never received a call but did get an email letting me know my order had shipped. It turns out it was available locally, and I received it within a day. However, the product was not in a product box. It was in a cardboard box with minimal packaging. I checked to ensure I purchased a new, not a refurbished item - I purchased a new item. Customer service is currently closed. I am waiting to see how much of an issue they will make of returning this item free of charge.

    Purchased A3500 blender. I tried to post this with the serial number and invoice but it wasn't allowed.
    It was purchased in December as a Christmas gift. It did not turn on. We are familiar with Vitamix and know there's a toggle/switch on the side of the unit that's a secondary power switch. Tried multiple outlets but it did not work. I'm surprised this unit somehow passed QC. A very disappointing experience. My options were to ship it back and have them 'repair' it or refund. If it's defective then a new unit should be sent instead of 'repaired'. So a Christmas gift would now have to be 'repaired' and would not be available until February? Not acceptable. When asked for a new unit and partial refund they did not even entertain the idea so I requested a full refund. Poor QC and customer service. I will never recommend Vitamix nor will I ever buy their products if they cannot stand by them and provide a better experience.

    Vitamix provides a great product, with equally amazing customer service!
    I recently ordered a new blender because our current one stopped working (due to literal daily use over 4 years, blending full loads of raw kale). We sent the current one back for repairs under warranty, and ordered expedited shipping for our new one.
    Vitamix was able to get our new blender to us the NEXT DAY!!!! Sadly, the one that arrived had an error code right out of the box. These things happen, and I am not upset, as they quickly got us a shipping label to return it, so they could replace it with a new one.
    I called and spoke to Vitamix about the expedited shipping I paid for, and requested a refund of the added cost to expedite the shipment since I would ultimately have to wait a week to get a new blender, and Vitamix kindly agreed to do it.
    This new blender makes my 5th Vitamix Blender Purchase (3 gifted blenders were the other purchases), and I cannot say enough about this company. Their product is amazing, and we have truly put it through it's paces. This is the first time we've had an issue, which is impressive given how frequently we use our blender.
    I want to express my thanks to Vitamix for being a reliable company with great customer service.
    For anyone who reads this, Vitamix is the only place you should shop for a blender. You get what you pay for in most cases, but with Vitamix, I think we get the better part of the deal as a customer! They uphold their warranty guarantees, provide better than expected service, and that is why I will be a customer until they stop making blenders.
