I called Wilson and scheduled a service call concerning a slow running kitchen sink drain. I was told the service call to asses the situation would be around $95. I accepted and a drain tech arrived the morning of November (, 2023. Upon inspection the tech explained the charge to clear the drain would be an additional $250. Although I thought the charge was exorbitant I agreed. I explained to the tech that there was a cleanout in the basement for the drain where the problem had been found in the past. The tech stated that he always works from the top down. The tech began snaking the drain from below the kitchen sink. After two attempts to clear the drain the tech stated that the drain was still slow and very forcefully continued to snake the drain. Three total attempts. Finally the tech asked to see the cleanout in the basement and removed the cap/cover. When the water was then turned on in the sink a new hole in the pipe began leaking. I then found a bucket, put it under the leak and the tech and I saw water in the cleanout. The tech ten snaked out from the cleanout, poured some water from the bucket in the cleanout and stated the problem was fixed, the pipe was old and the repair was my responsibility and the cost to repair the pipe would be an additional $600 to $800. A plumber from Wilson came out the next day, quoted a price of $450. I thought this was exorbitant and declined. The kitchen sink and the laundry drain were both backing up by Nov 14. The same drain tech came out Nov 15, stated the 30 day warranty did not apply and I would be charges an additional $300 to clear the drain. I refused. Bottom line, I paid Wilson $186.75 for a broken pipe and a drain that still ran slow and a laundry drain that backed up because they did not adequately clear the line. Another company came out cleared the drains properly for $$187.20. They are now working well. Repair of the broken pipe is scheduled for a charge of $200. My total out of pocket $573.95. Terrible

Our furnace stopped working and called Wilson whom we pay $30 per month for "Happy Home" program. They sent a tech that afternoon. Before entering house tech said "If you want me to wear a mask, you're going to have to give me one". Before inspecting the furnace he gave a sales pitch regarding an air purifier system.Upon inspecting the furnace he said "The furnace has a bad circuit board. Replacing the board will cost around $1,100. The furnace is old and is not likely to last much longer. He provided us with 4 estimates for replacement of the furnace with an option to also place the air conditioner. He said if we ordered a new furnace by the next day his service call would be credited toward the furnace. If we opted for the circuit board replacement, there would be another service fee, and if he had to pick up the part rather than waiting for it to be sent to their business, we would be charged for that.I complained to his supervisor, stating that he acted more interested in selling us expensive products than in fixing our furnace. She replied that this was atypical behavior for him and she would have a talk with him. That was the extent of her response to my complaint. I had her terminate our "Happy Home" agreement.A service company that motivates technicians to market expensive services is not acting in the best interest of customers. I am disappointed that their expensive "Happy Home" program provided only expensive estimates and no real service.

Very professional representative. Reviewed the problem and explained clearly exactly what needed to be done to correct the problem. ***** was very courteous, and conscientious about my floors and the work area. While I am not looking forward to any future plumbing problems, I would definitely call Wilson Plumbing to serve any future plumbing needs. Thank you for the great and very prompt service.

This was my first -- and last -- experience with Wilson Plumbing & Heating. I'm a senior citizen, and was a long-time customer of Central **************************** Conditioning, and had an appointment to have my furnace cleaned & checked today for $89. The appointment was for 8:00 a.m., but nobody showed up or even called. I had received an email yesterday from Wilson informing me that they had acquired Central, and confirming the appointment. So I called Wilson. My repeated calls got routed to Wilson's "call center", which was nothing more than a glorified outsourced answering service, who could do nothing more than confirm that I did indeed have an appointment but they didn't know why the technician hadn't shown up. Finally a fellow arrived shortly before 2:00 p.m. He informed me that Wilson's business model is different than Central's had been, and the $89 quote meant nothing. He told me I'd have to pay either $229 for a "service subscription" or pay over $320 for a single simple service call to clean and check my furnace today. I successfully resisted the urge to tear his head off (as he was, after all, just the messenger), and politely refused to be bullied into accepting his "options". He left, and I'm sitting here with an uncleaned, unchecked furnace and a day of time off wasted. This sort of scam by Wilson Plumbing & Heating is outrageous.
