Our records show your order was placed on 5/1/24 via our website and that the item you ordered is shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. At the time you placed your order via our website, it clearly displayed an estimated shipping date of 5/28/24. The delivery dates that appear on your reminder cards or in the order status section of our web site are provided directly from the supplier. These are estimated arrival dates as stated on our website that you used to place your order. Unfortunately, we were simply waiting for the arrival of your parts from the supplier. If any supplier cannot supply a backordered part prior to the date in question the date will then be moved accordingly. You contacted us on 5/6/24 and requested the item be cancelled and refunded. We sent a cancellation request to the manufacturer and once we received confirmation, your refund was issued the same day. Our records show that we also confirmed this with you via email later that day as well. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused to you or your recent project.

      HORRIBLE COMPANY:I ordered the wrong battery for my ATV. Everything was good, called customer service to return/exchange the battery.Was told it couldn't be returned because it is hazardous, I asked "How can you ship me a dry battery, but I can't return it"... Ridiculous, c*** total c*** I actually called the Mfg and they were more than happy to take care of me, told them I will never buy from Summit, hopefully they re-evaluate their business partners.

Our records show that you placed an order for a battery that includes acid with it, part number YSA-YTX20HL-BS via our website on 4/24/24. On the item page on our website that you ordered from, there is a special attention note that clearly states "Hazardous items can only be returned in person to one of our four retail store locations, no mail in returns.". Our policy on this is in accordance with federal regulations regarding the shipment of items that are classified as hazardous materials.       Went to website ask for a specific part for a specific vehicle was sent the wrong part then got screwed out of shipping costs both ways. At the summit racing employees send you the wrong part you're going to get screwed for shipping charges both ways. THANKS FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Our technical staff replied to you on 4/4/24 and stating that part number, RNB-***** was a direct fit for your application based on the information you provided. You placed an order via our website on 4/5/24 for part number, RNB-*****. You called and spoke with one of our service representatives on 4/18/24 regarding the part being not correct for your application. Our representative advised you of the return procedures and policies if you did wish to return the item to us for a refund.

If you can provide some additional info, such as customer number, invoice number, or the email address the order was placed under, we would be happy to investigate the matter further.

      I live in ****** and on orders over $300 we get free shipping so I ordered a Summit brand 4 barrel carburetor and received an e-mail that my order had been received and shipped dated March 26 2024 cool. March 28 2024 I received an e-mail stating they had received my return. I didn't send back my carb as I never received it so confused I called / texted. Summits response was that ***** had tried to deliver my carb 3 times and I was not available. So I looked for any notices that anyone from ***** had came to my home and found nothing next I reviewed footage of my door bell camera and nothing. So oh well I'll get my refund right ....nope it cost me $565 Cdn for a $400 American Carb but they don't reimburse shipping costs and duty charges. The rate of exchange also is not the same somehow after only a week so I received $491.00 for an item I paid $565.00 for but never received. I will never buy from Summit Racing ever again we use Rock Auto all the time never had any issue like this before.

Our records show your order was placed on our website on 3/26/24 and shipped out the same day via ****** According to ***** tracking, it was unable to be delivered, and as such was returned to us. Your order total was $400.89, with a breakdown of $377.79 for the part and $22.90 for duties and taxes. You were refunded in the amount of $377.79 for the part total on 4/3/24. This is because we do not return duties and taxes paid on orders returned to us as being undeliverable. That said, as a one-time consideration, we will issue an additional refund in the amount of $22.90 for the duties and taxes. All prices on our website are in US dollars and we have no control over exchange rates and fluctuation in them. We apologize for any inconvenience.

      My order’s shipping estimate was pushed back twice. Prior to making the purchase, I spoke to a Summit representative on the phone and was convinced to apply for a Synchrony Car Care credit card to use with the purchase. I did that with the understanding that I wouldn’t be charged until Summit Racing Equipment had my order at their warehouse ready to ship to me. Well, I was charged anyway and expected to make payments even though two months had gone by along with a third shipment estimate delay. Synchrony said they would file a dispute to not charge me until my order was received by Summit and for investigation purposes. Summit decided to not reach out to me and instead cancels my order. The response to my inquiry is that they cancelled it due to the dispute. I don’t get an apology no any offer for resolution, even though I had recently responded to an automated request as to whether or not I was willing to wait for the purchase (to which I said I would). I was hoping they would respond favorably, but instead was met with a brief, non-empathetic, and unfavorable response. I wonder how many more customers they would have retained and profited from if they were only more professional, tactful, friendly, and understanding. And I’m passionate about cars as a hobby, so I’ll just continue to give my patronage to other business locally and even bigger chains that have given me a better customer service experience. The Synchrony card is still useful, but I definitely disapprove of Summit.

We apologize for any issues or confusion you may have had with your order. Normally yes, we do not bill credit cards for backordered items, until they come into stock. That said, the one exception is when using a Summit Speedcard with the same as cash financing terms on it. Our records show you placed your order via our website on 11/26/24 and selected the 12 months same as cash financing terms and confirmed the actual billing of the order upon checkout and completion of the order. Regarding the dates on the backordered item, the delivery dates that appear on your reminder cards or in the order status section of our web site are provided directly from the supplier. These are estimated arrival dates as stated on our website that you used to place your order. Unfortunately we were simply waiting for the arrival of your parts from the supplier. If any supplier cannot supply a backordered part prior to the date in question the date will then be moved accordingly. Since you initiated a credit card dispute regarding the charge for your order, the order was cancelled in accordance with our polices. We apologize of any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.

      Clutch went out in my 07 rx-8. I called ACT to purchase a clutch and they advised me to purchase from Summit as they were cheaper than buying from ACT directly. I thanked them, and then called Summit Racing. After speaking to their salesman *****, he informed me not only did they have the part in stock, but if I placed the order before 10 pm that my order would be shipped that day. I went online later that night to purchase it, WHICH ALSO SAID IT WAS IN STOCK, and would take 3-5 business days to ship. I placed the order, 5 days later, no email ever received, I checked my order status to see where it was at. It still said estimated shipping 3-5 days. I contacted customer service, and after 15 minutes was told that it wouldn't be expected to ship until the week of Feb 5th. Even tho I placed the order Dec 26th. I was stuck out of state, missed christmas and new years with my family, and summit does not care about their customer. They told me they would cancel the order and I would receive my refund in 3-5 days. 4 days later I checked on where my refund was, and they told me I needed to WAIT FOR ACT TO CANCEL THE ****** Summit stated if ACT doesn't cancel the order, then I would have to pay full price, wait until the part ships, then return it myself because, "We'd have to eat the money if they shipped it to us" quote from **************** manager ***. This company would rather the customer get bent over and rammed from behind then to give you your product or your money. I have never ordered a part from here, and never will again, and will continue to advise others to avoid this company.

We apologize for any issues or confusion you may have had with your order. Our records show you placed your order via our website on 12/26/23 for part number ACL-3000204. Our website does clearly show "this item ships directly from the manufacturer". and "an estimated shipping date of tomorrow". These are estimated dates based on information supplied to us directly from the manufacturers. Unfortunately, we have no control over vendor holiday hours and shipping schedules. You contacted us on 12/29/23 via chat and requested the order be cancelled. Since the item was being shipped directly from the manufacturer and the order had already been placed at that point, we needed to confirm with the vendor that they had not shipped the item out yet. You contacted us again on 1/2/24 at which point we had not received the cancellation confirmation from the vendor yet. We did receive cancellation confirmation on 1/3/23 and we issued a refund the same day. Once issued on our end, refunds can take up to 3-5 business days to be processed by your credit card company or financial institution before the funds post back to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.

      Bought an almost 10k engine from them was shipped directly by atk upon arrival the engine wouldn't run or start after jumping through hoops and delays with atk for 4 weeks the finally had us ship then engine back now over 8 weeks later they still won't give us anything other more excuses and hold our engine and money hostage awhile summit refuses to help or make it right I am out over 8k for the engine also labor to put it in and all the time running pointless tests for atk to confirm what we new day one so another 5 or 6k in labor and wasted time while refusing to fix the problem with the engine we purchased from summit racing as they refuse to make it right at all

We apologize for any issues you may have had with the engine you ordered from us. The manufacturer, ATK handle all warranty claims directly on crate engines. Unfortunately, the minimum time frame for this process (when all parts or blocks to rebuild are in stock) is a minimum of 4 weeks. During holidays and peak seasons, the times of course can be longer. Our records show you contacted us on 12/28/23 and the representative explained that many of our vendors are closed during the holiday season and they would reach back out to you again once they are open. We did speak directly with the manufacturer today and they confirmed that they were already in contact with yourself and the actual vehicle owner. They stated that the engine will be hitting the dyno to run and verify the shops diagnoses today. Once they duplicate the issue, they will pull it apart and inspect for the alleged manufacturing defect and handle the warranty process accordingly. They also stated that due to the contentious interactions between yourself (*******) and the manufacturer, that all communications regarding the results and return shipping of the product would be going directly through the actual vehicle owner (*****).

      There products might be worthwhile but your customer service is much to be desired. Even after an automated response stated they had assigned my question to a representative and would get back in contact with me within 1-2 business days. A week later and still no reply. Thank you for not taking the time to address my question and getting back in a somewhat timely manner. For once I thought I had the perfect gift idea, now thanks to you Ill never find. Hope you have a Merry Christmas

      Been waiting 8 months for a part to ship. Summit Racing Equipment will not send you a notification that shipping date changes, they put the blame on the manufacturer about ship date. When asked for manufacturer contact they sent distributors contact instead. When first bought on website it says in stock and after purchased it said out of stock.they take your money and your left with depending on manufacturer to deliver.to me this fraud and deception.they will cancel your order and refund you money but you have to stay on top of them, and it will take them 3-5 buisness days to refund your money. I have screenshots and texts from Summit Racing Equipment to back everything I'm an declaring.there are even you tube videos on this and I believe there's needs to be a class action lawsuit against them.
