      I had ordered a clutch line for a wrangler on the 29th of July with an expected ship date the end of July. Started the back and forth with them asking update on the order starting the first week of August. About weekly I was told that the clutch line was going to be delayed anywhere from 1 to 7 days (yes I was told at one point the part would send out the next day). I understand delays but after the fifth time going round and around like this I would have expected Summit to do something more than just "yea its what the supplier says". FINALLY on September 20th nearly 3 months later the story has come to a conclusion. Summit sent me an email saying that they essentially lost contact with the supplier and they updated the expected ship date to the 20th of October. 4 months is to long to wait for a part, especially considering I ended up ordering another part from a different location beginning of september and received the part. So long story short Summit sources some of the parts from unreliable sources and appear to be perfectly fine with it. Extremly dissappointed since I use to order parts off of Summit all the time without issue.

Our records show you placed your order ******* for part number, MOP-52060477AE via our website on 6-29-23. Our website does display a note on that item that states this item is shipped directly from the supplier. The estimated delivery dates that appear on your reminder cards or in the order status section of our web site are provided directly from the manufacturer. These are estimated dates as stated on our website. Unfortunately, we have no control over how quickly a manufacturer can produce and ship an item. In the event a supplier cannot supply a backordered part prior to the date in question, the date will then be moved accordingly. Our records do show that we reached out to the manufacturer several times for updates at your request, but unfortunately the manufacturer did push the estimated shipping date out. You requested the order be cancelled on 9-20-23. We have since cancelled the order and issued a refund in full on our end. Please be aware it may take up to 3-5 business days for the refund to be processed and the funds posted back to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.

      Summit used to be a go to source for performance auto parts... not anymore. Placed an order for a clutch kit for a customer's car, 2 days later get an email saying there a payment verification problem. I call, they say disregard email, payment went thru. This is 8/31/23 they proceed to inform me I should expect my order to arrive mid December! What! Yeah no thats not going to work. I tell them that's not going to work at all as the car is in the air now and transmission is out... there site said 5-7 days when I ordered. Please cancel my order. They said ok however it's going to be a couple weeks to get refund! That is completely unacceptable! Now their holding my money until there sure their vendor cancels the order! Never again! NEVER.

Our website does display a note on that item that states this item is shipped directly from the supplier. Our verifications staff did attempt to contact you on 8-30-23 to verify some information due to the dollar amount and the fact this was the first and only order you placed with us. Our verifications staff and processes are in place to protect both us and our customers. You contacted our Service staff via phone on 8-31-23 and requested the order be cancelled and refunded. We confirmed with the manufacturer that same day, that the order was cancelled and we issued the refund on 8-31-23 back to the original payment method used to place the order. It can typically take up to 3-5 business days for the refund to be fully processed by your card company and the funds posted back to your account, We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.

      I purchased a Mittler bros bead roller from Summit racing. It was shipped within three days. The shipping company totally screwed up my order. They told me they had my part , then the next day they could not find it. I wasted three days waiting for the shipment to show up. Summit racing customer service ( *******) was a wonderful help calling the shipper trying to locate my order. Summit racing customer service offered me a better replacement machine and didn't charge me shipping. The second shipper had no problem getting my order to my shop. Customer service at its finest.       I ordered a timing chain set for a 07 gt500. The part number they had listed m-6004-a544 with a check fit listing a gt500 as a direct fit. After installing the full kit and adding all the components left we got to the valve covers… they didn’t fit over the timing gears. Upon doing research online I found that the only car these won’t fit with a 5.4 is the gt500!!!!! So I go to their site with the new found other part number 6004-54svt and read the reviews…. 3 years ago a guy asked the difference between the two kits and they said in their reply the a544 won’t fit because of the valve covers!!!!! Fast forward to today. I called and talked to a very nice lady ****** who tried her best then sent me to **** her supervisor. The best he could offer was 100 credit and an exchange… the job is a 14 hr book labor job and it’s all back together but the valve covers!!! So to tear down replace and get back where I am now is about 13.4 hrs. At 100 a hr that’s a lot of money time. I simply wanted the right set and a refund to cover the time, which he denied. He admitted the 100 was a slap in the face but that’s all he could offer and his hands are tied. Asked for his supervision but he’s the top one in his department. So now I’m going this route, if I don’t hear back then I’ll go to small claims. You have my number. ***** *****

Our records show you placed your original order for FMS-M-6004-A544 via our website on 8-21-23. Our website does display a footnote on that item that reads "Designed for the Ford GT 5.4L, 4-valve engine using a cast iron or aluminum block. It includes the standard diameter cam drive that came on the Ford GT. Not compatible with Shelby GT500 cam covers." You contacted our service department on 8-28-23 after installing the item, upon realizing the issues with the cover fitment. As a consideration, our service staff did offer to take back the FMS-M-6004-A544 kit you installed, and that is now used, for an even exchange for FMS-M-6004-54SVT, despite this being a higher priced kit. As an alternative, the rep also offered you a partial refund if you wished to the keep the kit and source covers that will work with it. Unfortunately, as stated in our policies, and was explained to you by our service representatives, we do not cover or reimburse any labor charges. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.

      I recently had an issue when installing parts on my truck that were ordered from Summit. The defect was not obvious until the very end of the installation and I immediately contacted customer service 8/16/23 and by 8/17/23 I already had confirmation of them shipping replacement parts at no charge. I cant say enough positives about the incredible customer service. Too many companies lack this today. I would give more than five starts if I could.

      My order was delivered with missing components. I emailed summit the same day as the delivery (14 July) to notify them of the missing equipment. After 3 weeks of no real answers I lodged a dispute with PayPal and being an international buyer I have requested the parts be sent as sending the items back is prohibitively expensive and will leave me disproportionally out of pocket due to shipping costs and the additional GST I had to pay.. even though summit claim gst is included in their price. Summit responded with a refund that leaves me significantly out of pocket. Summits motto of we will do what it takes to make it rightis a joke! So if zero stars was an option I would select it, poor customer service. ********************** if you are reading this.. please send me my missing parts so I can get my truck back on the road.

Our records show that you did contact us on 7-14-23 stating that you were missing parts from your order. The representative you spoke with sent a request to our missing parts staff, which in turn contacted the manufacturer to send the missing parts to us so we can forward them to you. You contacted us for an update on 8-1-23 and the representative stated they would contact you back for an update as soon as we received one from the manufacture. The manufacturer was emailed on 8-2-23 by our missing parts staff for an update. You contacted us again on 8-7-23 (the same day you sent this review) requesting an update again. We again contacted the manufacturer requesting an update. They confirmed that did receive our requests, but they were not processed at that point. They confirmed that the missing parts are in stock and will ship 2 day air to our **** location by the end of today. Depending on when we receive them, we should be able to have them on the way to you in *********, either by the end of this week or the beginning of next week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your project.

      I ordered a front sway bar from them. When it arrived the bushings were the only thing in the package. I called customer service and was told the liable said 25 lbs and that it had to be in the box. This is even after I explained that it didnt show up. Pretty much they literally stole my money. Never will I use them again. Had to dispute it with the credit card company.

Our records show that you ordered part number MOG-K170001 and this left our facility on 7-24-23 at the correct shipping weight of 25 pounds. ***** tracking shows this was delivered on 7-26-23 also at a weight of 25 pounds, with picture confirmation showing no damage to the packaging. You chatted with one of our service representatives on 7-26-23 who asked for pictures of the packaging and if the box was damaged, taped, or resealed in any way. You confirmed that it was not damaged in any way and also sent picture of the inside of the box with the packaging material showing indication that the item in question was indeed in the package at some point. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be a shipping issue as it shows it left our facility and was delivered at the correct weight without indication of any damages.

      Acted like my product would be sent out right away. Turns out it was on backorder. Wasted 3 weeks waiting for it, until I finally just cancelled the order and ordered from a reputable site. Horrible customer service.

      Summit Racing has always provided me with extremely positive customer service experiences and handling of orders. With that being said, things seem to have gone extremely down hill. I use their Beat-A-Price-Guarantee service often which is super cool and generous of them to offer. I submitted a request on 6/21 and for some reason my request did not get picked up on their end until 6/28. After chatting back and forth with customer service reps from 6/28 - 7/04 they told me they could not honor the beat a price guarantee because I submitted the request after the order had already shipped. I called customer support and tried to explain to them that I think their email service flagged my request as spam because when I got a response from them it had the word "[SPAM]" in the subject line. I did indeed send the request before the order had shipped on 6/21 and even sent a screenshot of my original email that was timestamped on 6/21. My issue was escalated to a woman who on the phone accused me of adding the word spam to the subject line of my own email which is beyond absurd. Not only is that rude, it's insulting. I asked since this seems to have been out of my control what should I have done and her response was that if you didn't hear back from us the same day, you should have followed up. She was curt, unprofessional and dismissive. This is a real bummer because Summit carries most everything I need, but in the future I'll start ordering from other more respectful companies.

We are unsure why this would have been flagged as spam, resulting in the delayed receipt of your email request. We are currently having our IT staff investigate this matter. We will be reviewing this with the representatives involved and using it as a coaching tool to prevent any such situations in the future.       Placed an order to summit for a pair of shocks before a trip. Got confirmation that the order was being processed and loaded on to a truck. 6/23/23. Got a message that ******** attempt was made in an email. 10:58a.m 6/23/23. No call or note on door of attempt. No evidence of anyone on Ring Camera either for that timestamp of 10:58a.m . Called Summit was told they made an attempt but demanded a Signature and that was reason for not leaving package. Summit says they don't ask for a signature yet they wouldn't leave the package. Was told by Summit that they talked to LaserShip and someone would be reaching back out to me via a call. Day went by no call. Found the number for lasership online. When talking to their rep he acted confused about my address or whether it was a house or an apartment/gated community. Been a long time customer to ********************** for the past 20+ years. Very disappointed, missed a job and my trip due to this. Very shady to say they attempted delivery yet nobody was at my door. Our records show that your order was placed on 6-22-23 and shipped the same day from our **** location via Lasership. According to their tracking, it was out for delivery on 6-23-23. While we at Summit Racing, do not require a signature service on packages (with the exception of truck freight shipments), it is ultimately up the discretion of the carrier and delivery driver. Further looking at their tracking shows the order was delivered on 6-25-26. This would still have been within the 1-3 business day delivery time frame that was displayed on the website at the time you placed your order. Our records show you did speak to several of our service representatives and in addition to sending you a gift card for the inconvenience, we also offered to ship a replacement order to you via prepaid next day Saturday delivery, to which you declined. Ground shipping is not a guaranteed service and we do offer upgraded shipping options including next day air, if you need to ensure that an order is delivered within a certain time frame.

      I talked to Summit later on Friday sometime around 2:45-3:30p.m eastern , I was put on hold so the rep can speak with a team lead. Rep came back and said the first order will be redirected from Lasership back to Summit and I wont have to worry about it. They would also start the refund. I asked for a confirmation email by the Rep and that we had spoken. He said he would send me an email. Never got and email and noticed the order still said it was being shipped to me. I found the lasership number on a ****** search. Lasership seemed confused and had no knowledge of the conversation. On Sunday a man in a regular car showed up with the package, he didn't know anything about the situation. No follow up with Summit or email. Was also hung up on by the Team Leader later that day.
