      It took 3 weeks for a small part to arrive. Then, I get a gift card where I would have to pay even more money to use. Tell me.. what is wrong with this picture since I am not the one who messed up?

Our records show that your order was placed on 4-21-23 via our website. You ordered part number BRN-71041 which was on backorder at the time you placed your order. This information was displayed on our website and at the checkout page prior to completing your order. The estimated delivery dates that appear on your reminder cards or in the order status section of our web site are provided directly from the manufacturer. These are estimated arrival dates as stated on our website. Unfortunately, we have no control over how quickly a manufacturer can produce and supply and item to us. In the event a supplier cannot supply a backordered part prior to the date in question, the date will then be moved accordingly. We do not bill credit cards for backordered items until they arrive to us. The part arrived to us on 5-12-23 and we attempted to bill you for it and your credit card was declined. We continued this until 5-17-23 when the credit card payment was approved, and the item was shipped out the same day. Sometimes we do have special promotions offering a certain amount off if a certain amount is spent with us. We apologize for any confusion or offense you may have taken to such a promotion.

      I ordered a rim for my van on 4-18-23 here its 5-16-23 and havent even heard anything about my order. I got in touch with this company and they pushed back the shipping date to week of 6-1-23. I cancelled my order!!!! I would not recommend this business to anyone!!!!

You order was cancelled the same day. Since this was on backorder, you were never billed for the item, so no refund was due. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to you or your project.

      Been buying from summit for years, with many major purchases, and never had any issues with orders or returns. Shipping speed is generally on par with amazon prime, and their site is second to none as far as searching and locating parts that I need, and for alerting me to things that I didn't even realize I needed. I have yet to find a competitors site that compares to it.

      **** poor company i guess they were good when they started but just like ******* there c*** as well sending wrong part after 4 weeks of waiting on it and stalling my refund for weeks and not even the full amount and hold on to more of my money as well if i dont have to i done with these jokers

      ***************************** ************************ your company first makes me wait almost 4 weeks for the incorrect part deliver it on a day where you know good and well the whole weekend is shot then wait till Monday hating your company for causing this after weeks of going back and forth with your supplier and customer service to make sure it was correct to getting so late on Saturday I am told to call back Monday and also making me wait for a refund 4 days after the part was returned and not even returning the full amount having tl call back for the 15time to get the issue resolved I stand my review **** poor service

We apologize for any possible confusion as to your order, our polices or the refund process. Our records show you placed an order for part number ACQ-***** via our website on 4-3-23. As shown on our website at the time you placed your order, this item was not in stock and was on backorder. The item arrived to us on 4-19-23 from the manufacturer and was shipped out to you the following day. You contacted us on 4-24-23 stating you wanted to return the item for a refund. We issued a prepaid return label that we covered the shipping on, and the item was returned to us on 4-27-23. Once your return was processed on 5-1-23, a refund was issued in the amount of $71.68. This was the full value of the part including the sales tax on it. As stated on our website here: ****************************************************************************************, refunds are issued after the return is processed and accepted and can take an estimated **** days on new an unused items. Your refund was issued well within this time frame. You contacted us back on 5-2-23 inquiring why you were not refunded the handling fee as well. While our policies do state this is normally a non-refundable fee, we went ahead and refunded this to you as well on 5-2-23 as a consideration.       I purchased a transmission in October of 2022 and it went completely out in March of 2023. I understand the warranty is 90 days, but a $2800 transmission should certainly last longer than that. I called to see if we could resolve the issue somehow and the gentleman I spoke to was rude and seemed very bothered by me calling. There is no way I would ever purchase another expensive part from Summit.

      Thank you for your reply and the additional information. We have since reached out to the manufacturer and they requested that we provide ************** their contact information, which we did. The manufacturer will be working with him directly regarding the warranty on the transmission.

      The manufacturer seems to be working with us. Regardless of what the warranty paperwork says and what I was told by Summit customer service there is a one year warranty on the transmission. We'll get the old one back to them and they're sending a new one. Thank you for your assistance.

      Been waiting past the date that they said it would be here this is not just a five dollar part its at $841 that they quickly took out of my account but failed to send me the parts so imagine what your hundred dollar part means to them nothing

      Want horrible customer service? Well look no farther than Summit Racing Equipment!So here's my experience with them. I ordered a part ( muffler eliminator ) for my Jeep. Not a big order or a big deal or an uncommon part. Its a basically a bent piece of stainless tube with a hanger welded on. Website doesn't say its out of stock so great. Well then I get the email confirmation that says its backordered and is expected to ship the 10th of March. Its the 1st of March so again no big deal its a few more days. On the 8th I get an email that its delayed until the 31st and do I want to cancel? No I am not it a hurry as its not a critical part. So on April 4th I get a message from Paypal that I have a refund coming in a week. Its from Summit and its for only the retail amount of the item, no shipping or tax. ***? No email, no order update, no communication of any kind, just a Paypal notification. I give it a day and still no communication so I call Summit. The nice but vapid young lady that answered my call said that "she thinks the system cancels backordered items that sit too long" and that "if still want it you can place the order all over again". No recourse but to take even more of my time and Groundhog's Day the order. Normally you would expect a company to care enough to fix the order, look up your part and get it to you immediately, offer a discount.... something. But not Summit. So here is the the sum total of my experience so far. Open an account with Summit, order a part, pay them, have them sit on my money for a month, have them send delay after delay, still wait for them only to be ghosted. Nice. Talk about a lousy customer relationship. Good thing they aren't the only game in town. Save yourself the heartache go somewhere else.

The email you referring to was titled "We Need Your Help for Order # *******". In that email it contained the text "YOU MUST RESPOND IMMEDIATELY to let us know if you want to leave the item(s) listed below on order and continue to wait for them to arrive. If you do not respond, the item(s) will be cancelled and any payment refunded."Because we received no response from you, your order was automatically cancelled on 4-5-23 and a refund issued in the amount of $95.99 for the item. Since your originally order was paid for via PayPal, we also had to issue an additional refund in the amount of $19.42 for the handling fee and sales tax in the form of a check. This was also done on 4-5-23. We apologize for any confusion on this matter and for any inconvenience this delay may have caused to you or your recent project.

      I just looked up the same part on your website and it does not day back ordered it says now "special order for you", it did not previously say backordered although it may have in the cart and the estimate, which you still post on your website, albeit 4-24-23. However stating that you We need help with "We Need Your Help for Order # *******" is a bald faced lie. The email is titled "Important Information for Your Order # *******" and specifically states, "Thank you for your order. Based on the latest information we have received from our supplier, we estimate that we'll ship your order to you on or near the date shown below. We will remain in contact with our supplier regarding this item and there is nothing you need to do at this time." below that it states "We apologize for the delay in shipping your order. If you no longer wish to wait on your back order, you can easily cancel your order or click the banner below.(Cancelling an Order Help Link ) " There is ZERO language stating any action required on my part. I appreciate your ham handed attempt at CYA but you see I am not some clumsy consumer that you can fob off as unreasonable that this was some misunderstanding. I happen to be a senior web developer and know your playbook for customer service by heart. I recognize the automated responses and boilerplate vanilla language and excuses. Heck I have written a thousand of those boilerplates. Step 1, Blame the customer, Step 2. Blame the supplier, Step 3. Avoid all responsibility and repeat 1 and 2. Had there been a requirement to refresh my order, I would have done it. There was no communication after the above correspondence except in response to my complaint. So again bottom line you took my order, made me wait a month without fulfilling it, then issued me a partial refund with an additional 7 days "processing" and now I have do deal with a snail mail check, when anyone knows you can refund the entire amount to Paypal and at the end of the day, wait, no actually, at the end of MONTH and a HALF I will be no closer to receiving the part I needed in the first place. I didn't order my part from a manufacturer, I could have done that. Instead I ordered my product from a company that has been in the parts business for decades and should know who their customer is and why they trust(ed) the name Summit. But I guess the old company probably got bought out by some investment group like 4WheelParts just did and now its the same corporate shuffle. Here's the thing, if this is the way you do customer service then other customer deserve to know who they are dealing with and the Summit name is a hollow vestige of a shell game.

      I'm having a hard time with Summit at the moment. **************** is horrible, put me on hold for 25mins! Got hung up on by a rep after I asked flr a refund. Fighting to get my money back on something that I never received. I'm all done with Summit. I'm going with small businesses with good customer service. Don't care if it costs a little more.

Our records show that you contacted us on 3-13-23 regarding your order not being delivered. At that point we did file a shipping claim with the carrier and setup a replacement order for you. You contacted our service department again on 3-16-23 regarding the matter. The representative you spoke with apologized, and we explained that there was an error in processing the replacement order and it had not shipped out yet. She also offered to send it out to you next day Saturday air at our expense, to which you declined and stated you did not want to be on the phone anymore and wanted a refund. She apologized and told you that she would get it taken care of for you, thanked you for calling, and told you to have a good day. The total time of the phone call according to our records was 16 minutes long. The refund was then issued on our end. Please be aware that it can take up to 3-5 business days once issued for a refund to be processed by your bank or credit card company before the funds post back to the account.

      Nice try there Summit. That is not how it went down and I have video of the whole conversation on my securitycamera system. I was 100% hung up on after stating that I wanted a refund. On a typical refund, the associate would explain the refund process and then politely ask if there was anything else they could do for you. That did not happen.Total call time on my phone is 27mins and 1 second. I called again today and verified I was actually getting a refund. That woman was courteous and polite. Explained everything as expected. Good day sir.......

      As i Using the text option to speak with a customer service representative, the person was completely rude, as I was contacting the company about an $1800 order. Did not seem to care when I ask for a mangers. My order was supposed to ship over a week ago and they refused to contact the vendor to check order status. If I had know this was the service they provided' I'd have bought my merchandise somewhere else, and will make every effort to not use their company again.

You replied with "No way of getting an update from the vendor?" to which our representative reiterated that we would contact the vendor and email you as soon as we heard back. We apologize if you interpreted any part of this interaction as being "rude". We are currently still waiting to hear back from the vendor and will update the status of your order as soon as we do. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused to you or your recent project.
