Summit Racing has been great to me. From in-store purchases, mail orders, to me calling and asking how to properly set timing and having customer service explain it to me. 1 starpriced match a suspension system from an A+ better business bureau Websight applied for their credit card to make purchase waited till card arrived approx. a 7 to *************************************************************************************************************** my account with the price match ....when asked why they would not honor it they claimed web sight was basically a fake Websight even though its rated A plus by the BBB...their add says price match guaranteed and all stipulations by summit were met ...was not a fake Websight ...shows item in stock ..item is NOT clearance or back order was not closeout or wholesale warehouse and was not pricematching an already price matched item... seems they only price match when it benefits themReview fromStephanie W

They have excellent customer service (hint: the key is being nice to them) I placed an order on a Wednesday and paid for 2-day shipping in order to receive it on Friday. Something went wrong and my order didn't actually go through until Thursday morning. I called, hoping to take off the 2-day shipping and use the free shipping option since it would no longer get to me on Friday. Instead, they upgraded my order to next day air shipping for free. I got shipment notification Thursday afternoon and received my package Friday morning. I was very surprised that they upgraded my shipping for free and I am very grateful that I received my order in time. Thank you Summit!Summit Racing Equipment

I have been a good customer to Summit Racing over the years. I will no longer order items due to the recent order that has been delayed in shipment four times. September 2022 to now May 2023. The customer service says it is the manufacturer delaying it, but I have to question why Summit is not working on the order to get it to me. I received part of my order last year in September and paid the shipping. The balance of the order shipping cost is now Summit's responsibility. I believe Summit would prefer I cancel the order????
Summit has the part listed as it can ship tomorrow if I ordered it?

Our records show that the your order was placed on 8-8-22 via our website and this was the only order that you have placed with us. The items that you ordered are listed as being dropshipped directly from the manufacturer and this information was displayed on our website. The estimated delivery dates that appear on your reminder cards or in the order status section of our web site are provided directly from the manufacturer. These are estimated arrival dates as stated on our website. Unfortunately we have no control over how quickly a supplier can manufacturer and ship an item. You spoke with our service staff regarding this on 2-5-23 and this was explained at that time as well. In the event a supplier cannot supply a backordered part prior to the date in question, the date will then be moved accordingly. Our records show that we did update the arrival date on your order as we were notified of changes by the supplier. Currently as of 2-5-23, the manufacturer estimates your backordered item, ************ to ship out on 5-6-23. Here is how stupid summit racing is, i had a dispute with them over a returned part, but instead of the customer always being right, ********************** chose to blackball me, and won't sell me anything! By doing this jeggs now gets all my business, and i have just built 2 motors. I also tell everybody the story every chance i get, so by treating me this way , summit lost all my money , all my family's money, and every other potential person that the story spread to from all the car shows and all the other people i talk to, Maybe it's me but it doesn't seem like very smart way to do business, and at the least we know that summit racing does not care at all about its customers, even if they lose thousands of dollars in business, over a 300 dollar dispute, where they got a brand new part back that they could easily resell, Well good luck summit ,hope you don't go bankrupt.Summit Racing Equipment

Our records show that back in May of 2019 you returned a used (not new) carburetor back to us that was a tuning/setup issue and not a warranty issue. You then filed a chargeback against us on it. We did make several offers to you in attempt to resolve the situation, to which you declined all of them. I paid for 2 products for a total of **** and they were suppose to ship 2 days earlier then I receive a message that I need to verify payment. That they ALREADY HAVE! I canceled my order and will NEVER use them again and I will advise any of my customers and friends to stay FAR AWAY!Summit Racing Equipment

All refunds are processed back to the original method of payment. Since you used two different credit cards to pay for your order, (one for the amount of $1700, and one for the amount of $890.36) these are processed as two separate refunds to the respective accounts. As mentioned, it may take a few business days for the funds to post back to your accounts depending on how quickly your bank or financial institution processes the refund on their end. Ok let's hear Summit explain this one away..April 4, 2021, I placed an order for multiple items for my 68 Camaro. One of those items was OER K352 a convertible power top frame. They advised it will be shipped from manufacturer which I expected. So, during my wait I get shipping updates from time to time, and weeks go by, months go by with new dates and I patiently wait because I'm not at the point of installing this yet and I ordered it early so I would have it when I was ready. Well crunch time is near and I still had not received the order and I get excuse after excuse after excuse. After this I still can't believe I waited, but they had me believing I would receive the product. Now keep in mind my last Summit email announcement was a shipping date Oct 14, 2022. I decided I was going to personally call OER and find out the status on the top frames. Low and behold OER tells me these " HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED BACK IN MARCH OF 2022" so Summit has been sitting on my money for over year and a half and they were continuing to tell me that it was coming by sending emails out saying, "shipping out by" whatever date they decide to put into the system". So today is Oct 17th 2022, and I am now processing for a refund let's see how long it takes me to get my refund back to bad its without interest. I agree with the comments provided by the Summit staff, and they have provided me a satisfactory explanation on the chain of events that happened with my order. I feel this review of the manufacture purchasing procedures by Summit may help others in the future not have to experience situations like mine. I am willing to give Summit the chance to earn my business again and hopefully we can move forward with the exceptional service they once provided.
