1 starReimagine Roofing was a disaster for us. The so-called Project Manager initially did the assessment and assured me that he would be onsite every day during the work. But when the crew arrived, he was nowhere in sight. Day after day, I would call to hear that there was "an issue" with work at another site (that certainly should have been a warning) but that he'd be there for sure tomorrow. This happened repeatedly. When my contractor friend dropped by, around the time the new roof was almost completed, I had him take a look at a portion that was visible from inside the house: He told me it was not done properly and I would have problems. The Project Manager finally came after I provided this information over the phone, then brought in a new crew who removed and replaced the roof that had just been put on. But the new crew covered over part of the work the original crew had done, including covering an important drain that then led to severe leaks when the rains started. It took months to find and address the source of the leaks, so damage to living areas continued for months during the winter rainy months. Finally, six months after the roof work started, we thought we'd caught all of it. Then, a few months later, we found more issues another roofer was sent, who said some of the roofing had torn loose around the edges. Repairs were done again, but the roof tiles that had been over a small portion of original roof and slap-dashed back on with some of the tiles broken were also a source of water seeping in. We talked with ReImagine Roofing about this and were told the roof tiles had not been in our contract, so they were not responsible for repairing the damage they'd done to them---even though they had removed the tiles without discussing it with us. If that needed to be done, it should have been in the contract. It has been a nightmare dealing with this incompetent, unprofessional organization and worries about my roof (and possible future problems) remain.Review fromLuis B

I had Wildwood Roofing handle a roof and gutter install at my business location, and while they did a great job on the actual project, their customer care was severely lacking.I communicated with them upfront, making it clear that we would be open during the installation and was assured they would be mindful of our guests by not throwing roofing and gutter materials near the front entrance. Unfortunately, that wasnt communicated to the crew. I tried speaking with the workers on-site, but there was a language barrier. Despite multiple calls to address the issue and being assured the situation would be resolved, nothing changed. The materials continued to be thrown in walkways, creating a hazard for our ********* make matters worse, when I called customer service and management, I received no call-backs. After my seventh call, I was told, Well, its over now, and your roof looks good, so whats the issue? If youre just looking for a nice roof and gutters, Wildwood Roofing can deliver. But if you expect them to respect your property and care about customer concerns, I would look elsewhere. I was disappointed by the lack of care and follow-through after being reassured multiple times that they would be mindful.Update Unfortunately, the roofing company that was hired for our project caused significant damage to the siding while removing materials, leaving multiple holes. Despite reaching out multiple times, they have refused to return our calls or come back to repair the damage. Their explanation was that the siding is old, but we believe that should have been accounted for in their initial bid. This has caused additional stress and frustration, as it seems they are unwilling to take responsibility for the damage they caused. At the end of the day our goal is to make the customer happy and provide quality work that is backed up by a best-in-class warranty. Since we’re human, sometimes mistakes happen, but we always own up to those and do the right thing. When you complete thousands of installs, you deal with all types of people. Eventually you come across a handful of customers that are unreasonable and disrespectful. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case here. Here are the facts:
Materials:
Tearing off a 120+ year old roof is messy – there’s no way around it. This roof was very steep, so to keep our crew safe, there are only so many places debris can go. The building originally had antique tin shingles. The customer asked if it was possible to set aside the tin for her to re-use on some other project. We accommodated that request, but in doing so, it limited where the crew could dispose of the tin and the remaining debris. Furthermore, when trying to accommodate the business hours, we recommended that she have her clients use front vs rear entrances depending on which side our crew was working. This recommendation was ignored.
Damage:
There is one section of siding that was damaged during the install – where the gutter ties into the siding. This was an unusual set-up that required reusing irregularly cut siding material that was 10-20 years old. Nonetheless, we accept responsibility for that and have already communicated to the customer that it will be fixed (prior to her review). The remaining photos included in the review show rotted soffit & fascia and some bent & sagging siding that was pre-existing. We have photo documentation of the pre-existing damage. As a sign of good faith we replaced over 100 feet of rotted fascia at no additional charge.
Scheduling:
Because this job site was a working business, the customer stipulated that installation could only occur on Mondays and Tuesdays. We accommodated this request. Yet, in doing so, it created a major scheduling constraint. When it rains, we cannot install a roof. The customer was unhappy that there were unavoidable weather delays.
Communication:
We track all communications with our customers, including phone calls, text messages and emails. All of this is documented with notes. The customer’s claim of “no call-backs” is just not accurate. The customer repeatedly berated our office and field staff, often yelling and using foul language. Our team is simply doing their jobs and trying to help. Kudos to our team for handling this type of behavior in a professional manner.Review fromrichard e

Aspen was able to have our roof approved for replacement with the insurance company. They did a nice job, but over order products, use leftover products for the next job, don't credit for the returns, and are over charging insurance companies. Someone has to pay the bill while they make more money. Plus, they have a referral program and don't pay the money out. If you can have your roof done by a local business, I highly recommend not having the storm chasing roofers do yours!!Elite Construction Solutions

We’re glad to hear that you
are happy with your new roof. Not only did we do a great job on the install,
but we also upgraded your shingles from 3-tab to architectural at no additional
charge to you. So in this case, we were willing to make several hundred
dollars less to ensure that you got a better roof. We were not able to charge
the insurance company for that upgrade. When any roofer installs shingles,
there is a certain amount of material that gets cut in order to fit all the
different angles and contours of the roof. The amount of “waste factor” is not
an exact science and varies from job to job. Sometimes we end up with
leftovers, sometimes we have to buy more material. Material that has been used
(even a tiny bit) or has open packaging cannot be returned. Since we paid
out of pocket for those upgraded shingles, you do not get to also keep the
money if we had anything leftover to return.
As far as the referral
program, we have explained several times how our referral program works
- once both accounts are paid in full then the referral check is processed.
While your install was completed in October 2023, we did not receive your final
payment until 9/20/2024. We told you that it would take 3-4 weeks for us to
send you the referral bonus and it looks like you will receive it within that
timeline. I’m sorry that it takes us that long to process referrals; we’re
actively working to make that better. But, to be fair, it is complicated and
requires checks-and-balances to make sure it’s accurate.Review fromJodie H
