I built a condo with Marous Builders (closed in December 2022). During the 1 year period, the subfloor in my kitchen was squeaking. After a lengthy process, Marous had their sub contractors remove the floor in the kitchen and repaired the squeaking subfloor. ******* Floor Source put the floor back down apron. August 29, 2023. Within a few months, the floor started to separate in a few different areas. This was brought to the attention of the PM of Marous Builders (Brian *****) in the spring of 2024. During the same time that they were doing the other 1 year warranty, they had ******* Floor Source come back out and "pound" it together. I specifically asked the contractor if this was going to hold. I was told it would. On July 1, 2024, I reached out to Brian ***** (Marous Builders) via email about this floor separating again. He told me to reach out to ******* to see what they say first. I called and Mark from ******* came out to my home on July 11, 2024. Mark took some pictures and said he was going to speak with the owner on next steps. After not hearing anything further from Mark, I called and left voicemails for him on 7/22, 7/23, and 7/25. I did not receive any call back. I then reached out to Brian ***** and explained the lack of response from *******. On August 2, 2024, he said the owner Eddie will be reaching out to me either that day or on 8/5. After not receiving a call from Eddie on either day, I reached out to Brian. He said he was checking with his boss. In the meantime, I started leaving Eddie (owner of *******) daily voicemails starting on 8/12. So far I have left a total of 6 voicemails for Eddie with no call back. On 8/15, I reached out to Brian to see if he heard anything and he told me that Marous Builders have fulfilled their obligations and it is now up to ******* on how they want to deal with any issues. As you can see, I have an issue that started months ago and a band aid was put on only to return.

This correspondence addresses the complaint submitted by
    **** ****** on August 20, 2024.

Our company provides a one-year warranty on our services. As
part of this warranty, we conduct a walk-through with the homeowner at the end
of the warranty period to address any outstanding issues before the warranty
expires. The one-year warranty walk-through for the homeowner was completed on
December 11, 2023. During this walk-through, a list of items requiring
attention was documented. By February 23, 2024, all noted items were addressed,
and the homeowner signed off on the completion. No issues with the flooring
were recorded on the one-year walk-through document.
The homeowner subsequently raised a complaint regarding the
flooring in July 2024, which is seven months past the warranty expiration date.
Despite this, we have acted in good faith to assist the homeowner by
facilitating coordination with the flooring contractor, ******* Flooring.
******* Flooring visited the homeowner as part of this process. Furthermore, we
have continued to support communication between the homeowner and *******
Flooring. On September 6, 2024, ******* Flooring performed additional work at
    the homeowner's residence.

To date, we have not received any further communication from
the homeowner following the visit by ******* Flooring on September 6, 2024.

    Sincerely,
    Adelbert ** ****** **
    President
