      Dropped off a new pair of dress of pants to be dry cleaned as I have done for years with this company. When I picked up the pants I discovered they had been shrunk at least two sizes and the material was completely ruined. I took the pants back to the store and they acknowledged that they ruined them. They told me a manager would contact me the next day to resolve the issue. I never received that call so I called in several times over the next few weeks trying to track down the manager who never seemed to be there. At this point it had nearly been a month since the incident so I decided to stop in the store to check on the status of the resolution. Shocking that nothing had been done and the person I spoke with told me that the messages I had left never made it to the manager. He offered me store credit for the pants but I told him that I would prefer they write me a check to replace the pants since I will not be using their location in the future given how terrible this situation was handled. He told me that they would write me a check and that they would call me when it was ready to pick it up. Not surprising but I never received that call. I understand mistakes can be made and I was even willing to get past that and continue using this store. However, I am truly shocked that zero effort has been made to rectify the problem. I am left with this as my only option to hopefully get a resolution.

      unfortunately, its not true that we haven't try to reach out him . we were happy to give him store credit but he didn't want it.

      just to write any check for reimbursement, we need purchase receipt and we asked him to provide it so actual cost of pants can be reimbursed. His pants were worn several time and weaken material can get damaged during dry cleaning process.  gentleman ask for $500 when he came to the cleaner and now he is claiming $200. According to cleaners policy we can only reimbursed for no more twenty times the cost of cleaning. 

      he is welcome to come back and collect that amount any time.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Will have to say it is refreshing to actually get a response from you on this matter. However, not refreshing to hear you completely and bold face lie in your response. Trust me I never wanted to go this route, and would have much rather of resolved this matter by a simple conversation. A conversation in fact that most likely would have resulted in me still being a customer of yours as I have been using your store for years now. I had called repeatedly since the people I talked to said that the manager was the only one who could offer a refund. Every time I was told that the manager would call me back. Not once did that happen and I would be more than happy to show my complete phone records to prove it. 

      For the record, I was only offered a store credit several weeks later and 10+ phone calls of me trying to track down the manager. At that point, I had decided that I would no longer give my business to a company that cannot make an effort to fix a simple issue so a store credit was of no value to me. 

      At the end of the day, I have already wasted more of my time than I have ever thought possible to correct an problem that your store created. I guess that is what is shocking to me. You guys ruined my pants and have done absolutely nothing to even try and resolve the issue. Couldn't even make one phone call. Instead you come on here and call the customer a liar. Class act and I will make sure that everyone I know hears about it. 

      With that said, I have attached the receipt from my purchase last year at Men's Wearhouse for your reference. The pants were purchased as an entire suit and I found out today that I cannot just replace the pants. The suit was tailored to fit me and as you can see will cost me well over $300 to replace. I feel my offer of $200 is beyond reasonable at this point especially considering the amount of business I have given you over the years.
