    Horrible hotel! No hot water whatsoever terrible customer service and the hotel manager refuses to get on the phone. He lies to corporate and tells them that he spoke with me when he didnt. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

    Thank you for your candid review. We apologize that your recent stay did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments and will share these with our team so that we can continue to improve our services. After researching this matter, We have reached the conclusion that there was hot water in the room, perhaps not hot enough as some guests might prefer. We have issued you a full refund as a one- time courtesy in good faith. We were confused as to what the initial complaint was hence the delay in our response to you. Whether it was the hot water or the room heater. As per your initial complaint to corporate you stated you needed to turn the heater on in your car to stay warm. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, We wish you the best.

    On Saturday June 17th a storm hit Tulsa Ok and left most without power. We called and booked a room with Holiday Inn Express and told them our situation. We have a grandmother, 2 dogs, 2 adults and a child. We told them we wanted the hotel for a week but asked if we could cancel if our power came back on. They told us that we should talk to the front desk when we arrived but did not see a problem.
    When we checked in, June 18th 4 pm there was chaos, our room was not ready and some of the workers were saying they were working excess hours. We were told to talk to the manager in the morning when he got in at 11:00.
    The elevator did not work. We had to climb up and down 4 flights of stairs. The pool and hot tub were broke and not working but we were just relieved to have a cool room.
    The next morning we found the manager (Zain) and asked him what they would charge us if our power came back on that day (June 19th). He said he would charge us for 2 nights.
    We got the call that our power was on a couple hours later and the manager changed his mind and told us he was going to charge us a cancellation fee of another day. He told us he had to charge us another day because he had nobody to clean our room because they all left in 4 minutes (3:56 pm). When we went to pack I asked the cleaning lady next door what time she got off and she said 8 or 9 pm., when all the rooms were clean.
    There was a line at the counter of people checking in, when we were leaving. They were asking the same questions and he was saying he would work with them.
    I was very upset because we weren't there on vacation. We were there to have a place to stay in a crisis. The manager told me at the counter that he had to charge me 3 days. He had authorized my card for almost $2000 and he would not give me a bill nor a receipt. He said it was the hotels policy to email it to me the receipt later. I has been 2 days and still no e-mail. He was price gouging in a crisis. I do not recommend this hotel.
