    10/28/2023 I went in for an oil change at this take 5 location. While changing my oil they broke my sensor going from my air box clip. I was told it was no big issue and at my convenience to take my car to meinike, they would fix the issue and take 5 would cover the charges. I took my time because the mechanic told me it wasnt detrimental. Next oil change I got (2/2024) the man told me I needed to get it fixed ASAP because it could potentially leave me stranded. I took my car straight to meinike and when they called take 5 they were told now my replacement is out of warranty and I would have to deal with corporate to get my refund rather than then just paying for the service.I went to the take 5 shop same day and the manager ****** ****** told me he would and the information off to corporate and they would be issuing me a check for a refund of the amount I ended up paying meinike out of pocket to fix the sensor they broke. ($223.26) I never heard back from him even after calling and emailing several times to get correspondence. I havent heard anything back from him or anyone at take 5 since April 8th. I reviewed the business on ****** and I called the number which the business replied with and no one will answer. I also want to note- they are telling me the repair was out of warranty but when I look at my invoice, it says see warranty information on back of invoice and the back of my invoice is totally blank I totally feel like I am helpless in this situation and this company took advantage of me :( Im attaching images of the original take 5 invoice, the blank backside of the invoice, meinkie invoice and the business card the manager ****** gave me.
