      I enrolled in an introductory online subscription to this Albany-Democrat Herald to access some articles for a research project in September 2023. After the project was complete I attempted to cancel my subscription on March 1, 2024. At the newspaper website, my attemps to cancel were (and still are) directed with a message "We're sorry to hear you want to cancel. To cancel a subscription, please contact customer service. ************" I called this number that day and multiple times since and I am sent through a series of prompts, but never connected to an actual human and there is never an option to cancel. I also emailed their customer service ************************************* multiples times and have not gotten any response.The business continues to charge me a monthly fee of $10.99. If I try to change the payment information to remove my credit card details, I get another error message "Server Error. We are working to address this issue, please try again later." This same error has been reported since March. The credit card says that even if I change my number the monthly charge will continue. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

      The account has been stopped and a refund for $65.94 (6 charges @ $10.99) will be refunded back to her **** Card. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing.

      I subscribed to the *********************** in December of 2022. When I didn't need my subscription any longer, I went to the website to cancel, but the 'cancel subscription' option did not work. Recently the 'cancel subscription' page indicated to call customer service, though there is no customer service number listed. I messaged several staff members on the Gazette website about cancelling my subscription, but never recieved a reply. I also called the ****************** and no one would ever answer.This business is predatory in how difficult it makes canceling a subscription

      7-18-23 Albany Democrat ******, Albany ****** THIS IS A MID-VALLEY NEWSPAPER- THE CHARGE WAS ***** . THIS COMPANY AD PROMO WAS 1 DOLLAR FOR 6 MONTHS, I WAS CHARGED ***** LESS THAN A MONTH LATER. THESE ARE CHARGES WHICH OVER DRAFTED MY ACCOUNT. THESE COMPANIES HAVE USED TATIC SUCH AS THIS TO ***** CHARGES IN A HIDDEN AD(S). I HAVE TRIED TO RESOLVE THIS WITH MID-VALLEY, THEIR PHYSICAL ADDRESS IS SHUT FROM THE PUBLIC THE ONLINE ACCOUNT PROVIDES A NUMBER WHICH NO ONE ANSWERS AND IT IS THE ONLY CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR MEMBERSHIP ISSUES. THIS COMPANY MAKES IT EASY TO TAKE MONEY WHILE HIDING WAYS TO SOLVE ACCOUNT ISSUES.
