I have taken some courses through ********* for a few years and last year bought an annually renewing membership for the first time. I contacted support to ask if I may renew early to take advantage of a benefit program at work, and they instructed me to cancel my subscription, then renew and they would manually fix the annual membership beginning and end dates. I emailed to double check this was correct and would work and I was assured it would. I did as instructed mid-February, and it is now May 8th and my account is still not correct. Support either really does not care, or they are supremely incompetent. I emailed back and forth trying to work this out over 30 times. I provided screen shots, and step by step instructions as to what needs to be corrected on my account. They then made two unauthorized transactions on my credit card. I am non-** so this caused me foreign transaction fees and exchange losses.Finally I asked for all to be refunded and to be given 12 months free, so I can finish the courses I have started, and then I would not return as a customer. When I threatened to complain to the *** and BBB, they immediately processed my refunds (losing on the foreign exchange translation to a total of approx. C$75), and they issued a credit note for the 12 months membership. HOWEVER, they are not being responsive and have not adjusted my membership end date to add the 12 months to my account.I have provided my phone number for someone to call me so we can resolve this finally. It has taken so much time trying to sort this out. I used to love this company and enjoyed the courses, now I feel like what they teach is not what they preach. They are incompetent and uncaring.Can Mindvalley please correct my membership end date and we can finally part ways amicably.Initial Complaint

Feb. 28, 2023 I signed up for the $299 "educational" computer material from MindValley. I was billed $99 that same day, I do not recall what exactly that charge was.I do know that I would not have intentionally signed up for something costing me $99.00 every month.,It is hard to maneuver their site as it locks you out from 1. discontinue the auto billing 2. request a refund 3. talk to them via phone. After many attempts, I felt like a message went to them to cancel my subscription when I saw that I was billed $99.00 on Mar. 28, 2023. The unsubscribe button associated with Evercoach by Mindvalley's emails is nonfunctioning. Two company representatives have responded to requests to have my email address removed from their solicitation list but I continue to receive the unwanted huckstering messages. On 1-4-2023 signed upfor the class, in video it indicated that if dissatisfied, request a reimbursement. Due to my time restraints, never was able to trake course, I contacted their help source and requested first, if i could access the program I was not able to, their immediate and formatted response was that only 15 days it was allowed. Wrote several times and same response, then I requested my money back, same response. NOW, need your cooperation to clear this up and get my refiund of ****** since apparently they are well "robotic"trained to delay and avoid such fraudulent claims they make initially.Please advise as to what steps to follow and how to escalate ifneede to the general media.Business Response

I purchased the Wildfit Coach Training Program in October, 2022 for $5,997.00 (plus a $200.00 deposit). I was told by the Mindvalley representative that I would join a class which was starting immediately. Once my payment processed, nothing was uploaded to my account. I contacted Mindvalley and was advised I needed to go to the supplier of the Coaching Program for the program. Once I did this, I was told that I couldn't join the October class, as it had just started, but could join a class forming at the beginning of January. (This effectively put the 15-day refund out of reach, but at the time, I had no reason to request a refund, as it seemed legit that the class would be forming up soon). After several messages back and forth with the 2nd party, each communication initiated by me, the dates were never confirmed, but always at some unknown time in the coming weeks. I requested my full refund from the 2nd party in late February. I was advised, since I paid directly to Mindvalley, that I needed to get my refund from them. I have reached out via email, what'****, and a direct phone call to one of their salespeople trying to sell a 'business coaching' platform, but have received only replies that seem auto-generated by bots or people who sound amicable enough, but do not possess basic reading comprehension. I keep being told my issue will be sent to management, or 'the team' is working on it, or 'someone will be back with me within ***** hours' and I continue having to initiate contact-each time, having to state the facts of my case over and over again. We are now almost into April, with still no start date for this program for which I have paid in full. I do not want anything to do with this company or this program, and I am at wit's end dealing with talking to walls and bots and helpless 'customer support' 'teams'. My money has been stolen with absolutely nothing to show for it. This is not just a consumer issue, this is 100% fraud and absolutely 100% criminal.Business Response

For now, this is almost verbatim to **********'s responses via their "support@" email, WhatsApp and verballly from the coaching program salesperson I spoke with. They sound concerned *** say they'll make management aware of the situation, but then all communication ceases or reverts to the 15-day refund rule.I will suspend approval of this answer until I see actual results.

This is regarding Mindvalley **** I signed up for and clicked the button of a one year subscription in March of 2022 with NO auto renewal. I was sent a notice of automatic payment renewal on 3/8/2023. I sent an email to the company, at that time, stating that I did not want the subscription, and denied the authorization of this payment. Mindvalley followed through with the auto renewal on March 23 2023. I had paid $399 for this mindfulness / meditation type of app service last March 2022. I used it for a few months and did not find it useful. I hardly used it after that. On March 6th 2023 they charged me a $399 auto renewal fees. I never explicitly authorized or gave them consent to auto renew the service. This is sheer trickery and cheating. I went back promptly and told them I dont like their service and hardly used it since last year. I asked them to promptly cancel my renewal , cancel my service and refund my $399 immediately as it was deducted without my authorization and consent. They are not honoring my request and giving me lame excuses like this service is like ********* which BTW charges like $10 with customer consent and have a great customer service too). Even if they apply the 15 day refund policy they should honor my complete refund as I dont like their service. They are playing with words and terms while in reality this is total trickery and scam in the name of hidden auto renewal which I never authorized and opted for. They are a scam business and I would like to *** them if they dont honor my complete refund of $399 ASAP and cancel my service one and for all. Such a cheap way of doing business. I signed up for the Mindvalley program last year in 2022. I had a problem using it and complained and asked for a refund. They didnt give me a refund because I was over 15 days. I thought that was the end of it. I didnt use their programs at all and thought that was the end of it. But I didnt realize I was on auto renewal. I was billed again on 3/12/23 for $399.00. I immediately contacted them but they said they wont refund my money for the charges three days ago. Although their website says they will refund if within 15 days they have again refused to refund my money for this year too. I explained I cant afford this and would like my money refunded. But they havent responded. Therefore I am filing this complaint. I immediately turned off auto renewal when I found out it was on. But, I feel I shouldnt have to pay for this as I dont want it.
