In May of 2022 I enrolled in a correspondence course on becoming a piano tuner and technician with the Potter School of Piano Technology and paid $1895 for the course and materials. Although I received the course materials promptly and as advertised, I have been unable to receive any of the promised evaluation of exams, consultation, or answers to questions in pursuance of a diploma. I have called and emailed repeatedly. Two months ago, I finally got through to someone at the office by phone who promised to bring my complaint to ***** Potter, the course instructor, but I never heard back. Continued calls and emails go unanswered.Because of this complete lack of support, I have been forced to seek professional feedback from other sources in order to make progress. At this point, even if I do hear back from ***** Potter or someone else at that school, I no longer have any trust in that business, so the only way I see to resolve this complaint is with a partial refund of my payment. On 10/8/22 I send a letter to ***** Potter requesting a refund of 1/3 of the course cost, or $631.66, which I thought was quite fair, given the complete lack of support for the course. I have still had no response, so I am submitting this complaint.
