    Zero stars!! After spending $180.00 for screening and passed all background checks, credit check, work check and dogs were approved.we were denied for renting a home. Only because we couldnt prove to years of rental history. I was totally prepared to spend almost $7000 deposit and first months rent to get into the home and now we have nothing and were out $180!!

    These people are dishonest criminals...My partner and I have each rented several homes and apartments in the past, and have always left each and every one in equal or better condition that it was given to us. We have always received 90% or more of our security deposits back as well.When we first moved into our new home in Bend that was managed by Superior Property, we were disheartened to see that none of the walls had been patched or painted, and much of the house had not even been cleaned prior to our arrival (we were scrubbing spaghetti sauce off of the kitchen cabinet doors).Over the two years we spent in this home, we worked to fix the unkempt lawns that were given to us, we painted a room that was severely scuffed and marked (with permission), and made a whole host of other repairs to the home that should have been taken care of prior to our arrival.Now that we are moved out, we have received less than a third of the money we paid for a security deposit (about 800 out of 2700). The charges presented to us included $1100 to paint the entire inside of the house in a color that wasnt even there to begin with, even though it clearly hadnt been freshly painted (or even cleaned properly) prior to the start of our lease. When we moved out, the house was cleaner and tidier than when it was first presented to us, and I have the documentation to back that up. I have sent multiple emails to the office AND talked to the homeowner about this, but am now at the point of taking legal action because they have so far refused to acknowledge their wrongdoings. They are taking advantage of tenants and charging for services that are not actually being rendered on the homes they are renting out, hoping that people are too scared or unequipped to push back against them.

    Hello ******,Thank you for taking the time to explain the whole situation from move in day to move out. After, I reviewed everything, I realized that even though you painted and that is usually something we do not allow, in this case it probably should have been painted before you moved in. I am refunding the entire painting charge today along with a few other items we talked about.Thank you for all you did for the home during the time you were there. We were lucky to have you as a tenant.
