  Mr. ********************** ********************** was our contractor (cb# ******, EIN 81-3682335) who remodeled our bathroom in September-November. We paid $27,080.79 for remodeling a 77sq ft bathroom. Now our floor squeaks. I contacted Mr. ********************** via text on 24 January 2023; he did not reply. My husband texted him on 6 February- no reply. My husband then called Mr. ********************** on 13 February by phone- no reply. On 26 February my husband emailed Mr. **********************, again no reply.We are asking that Mr. ********************** fix the issue or compensate us $5000 to have another contractor come in and fix the issue. Mr. ********************** said he warranties all his work for a year guaranteed. Were asking that Mr. ********************** keep his word. This whole ordeal is frustrating and stressful. He has since moved from *********, ****** to ******, ******.

  I was hired to remodel a second floor bathroom, which consisted of leveling bath floor, installing a new tub with shower surround, tile floor, vanity, and toilet in the bathroom. The house is over 100 years old, in which the bath had become over an inch out of level, we removed the subfloor and added framing to level the floor, at this time we could of address any squeaks, unfortunately we were never aware of any squeaks or asked to fix them. Existing squeaks are not a warranty item, certainly not on a home of that age and with the settlement. I have attached a text from the owner stating that the squeak came back, not a new squeak.

  I am rejecting this response because:Mr. Helligso fixed a small squeak in our old bathroom by front left corner floor by the tub about a few years ago. Then after the remodel the squeak in the same area came back and the floor moves a little, cracking the grouting there. But the squeak not only came back but the floor along the tub after you step around the new squeak area pops along the floor by the entire tub.  The old squeak he repaired was gone. This new squak  in the floor was not there when he demolished the bathroom and about two weeks after the remodel was finished the squeak and popping along the tub came back. Yes the house is old but the old bathroom did not pop along the tub before the remodel. I am not asking for the moon, just asking that Mr. ******** fix what happened after the remodel. I wouldnt have even used BBB but after a month of no replies from him I had to communicate in the only way I thought he might respond back. I am stressed and sick to my stomach about this. Truely I only want fixing whats fair in this construction.
