    My family has been using this tax filing service for years. I just dropped in for this years filing and was handed the paperwork by the owner. Just as I was about to sign all the paperwork, the owner glanced at the documents and then refused to file my taxes after making a bizarre comment noting my family name?Finding this rather odd seeing as I work a government job for a school and I had filed with them the previous year on another simple tax return, naturally I asked for a reason. The owner spat out a blatant lie. He said that he was suddenly too busy and cannot file my taxes as he swiped the paperwork i was prepared to sign (that he literally just handed to me) from my hands.From there he proceeded to refuse me service until I left. Its also worth mentioning I dont have any missing dues owed to the business, and I brought the previous years tax filings with me. I was even filing a full month earlier than I did last year where his business was still accepting late filings. As far as my taxes are concerned, I dont have any confusing deductions or complications and ALL of my income comes exclusively from my government job. In short,I was refused tax filings with a lie given as a reason for refusal after he was clearly initially entirely willing to file the taxes until the bizarre comment the owner made about my name. The owner later proceeded to double down on this lie by having his employees call my family to preemptively refuse them tax services after my visit. Which tells me that this refusal of service is likely on the basis of my family name, even though that hardly makes sense (from a rational persons perspective) because I am filing separately from them.
