      I contracted DaBella Windows to replace the windows in my house. I specifically requested that the windows be as large as they could be in my existing rough openings. My three large picture windows were replaced with windows that were much smaller than the ones they replaced. One of them is at least six inches shorter. The contractor had to add multiple 2x4's both above and below the window making the rough opening smaller so they would fit.Please see the attached documents for more detail.

      We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We've confirmed that the windows were measured and installed correctly however, the discrepancies are likely due to the fact that casing, jambs, and plaster are not factored into the critical measurement. While the windows are the same size as the replacement, no line and case was included with the order and once those items are removed, the window will appear smaller and the opening where the casing used to be must be filled in. To ensure the customers satisfaction, we are happy to address the matter and work towards a resolution that is satisfactory to all parties. The customer should expect a call from the General Manager to arrange a visit to discuss their options. We can also confirm a ticket was opened to address the screens and locks as previously communicated.

      Hello-Again about these Premine ******************************* Gutter covers I purchased on May 27th 2024 that were to be installed on these gutters for ******* I was told they would would be installed on July 31st by your office manager here in *********. They are not and I have not heard a word since. ****** dollars later its becoming evident that DaBella is blowing me off. Why? Is the only question in my mind. I wasnt even looking for your gutter system as advertised on your web site, and the brochure I received after being told that this system was the only way to go. Bottom line - I went ahead and purchased this system and have not received what I paid for. Did I receive the roofing system I spent 30 grand for? I dont know. So, As a custom of your company, Im asking you ******* to be reusable, and ether tell me why you think I should not have the product you advertise on your web site and in this brochure I received at the point of sell. This system you continue to tell me will be installed. Or come and install it. I dont think this is an unreasonable request.Thank you.************************* ****************************************************** ************

      DaBella took advantage of my elderly mother and her husband. They charged them $36,000 for a roof (WAY more than it should have ever cost), made no insurance claim for any damage to the roof, and violated by Minnesota law by never pulling a permit to work on the roof. They sent my mother and her husband to a finance company they appear to partner with that charged two people living on $2200 per month 11.9% interest and almost 1/5 of their monthly income. The practice of DaBella by not pulling permits, having none of their work inspected, and doing this to vulnerable elderly people is horrible. I now cannot sell their house because there is no legal roof on the home. My mother resides in assisted living and her husband passed just weeks after entering into the contract with DaBella.

The request for a new roof was initiated after the complainant's mother and her husband voluntarily submitted their information through our online platform. The job was completed in full compliance with the agreed-upon terms.

      It's important to note that we do not open insurance claims on behalf of homeowners. That responsibility lies with the homeowner, as it's a personal decision whether or not to involve insurance. Additionally, we encourage you to review the website of the city associated with the property to verify that we did, in fact, pull the necessary permit for the work performed.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The statements made by DaBella are inaccurate and do not resolve the complaint.  The fact that they are indicating that they performed the work as contracted is highly concerning.  376 days passed after the work contract and after I filed a complaint with the ***************************** before DaBella did anything, and still the roof is not legal. My mother and her husband were financially exploited by DaBella's business practice and the company seems unapologetic about how it treated them.  

      DaBella charged an exorbitant more than $36K for a roof that was never legal and sent my mother and her husband to a lender that would take about 20% of their meager income, while they were getting food from a food shelf.  

      I am concerned that this practice will be carried by the company against other vulnerable people like my mother and her husband.

      Please find attached the Court-ordered Letters of Guardianship and Conservatorship issued in *************, **********  I am my mother's legal guardian and conservator and was given the power to make legal decisions etc for her due to her dementia/Alzheimer's. If you need further consent from my mother, I can also get that.  However, legally I am required to handle her legal matters and financial issues.  I ask that the attached guardianship/conservatorship document be treated as a confidential document.  

      Further, we were provided the attached documents that the Dabella representative told my mother to sign.  Although my mother did not sign the contract (her deceased husband did - who was severely medically compromised and a vulnerable person at the time), she stated that the man from DaBella gave her the attached paperwork and told her to sign it.  She did not inspect the roof, see photos of the roof, or know anything other than that he told her it was done and she needed to sign the papers.  She was never told that no permits had been pulled for the roof and that no inspector had ever approved the work be done OR verified the work was complete.  Put simply, no legal process was followed by DaBella.  My mother told me she just signed what the man from DaBella told her to.  When I showed her the attached paperwork, she pointed at the two of the signatures on the attached paperwork (see red markings) are not her handwriting or her signature.  The green markings show her signature - though she did not know the status of the roof when she signed them per his instruction.

      I would like to provide my step-father's medical information showing the state of his medical compromise and vulnerable status at the time of this contract.  I have also reported that the amount of money charged for the roof was astronomical and exploitive of my mother and her husband.  Please confirm that I should send the medical records to this email address.  I have obtained two alternate quotes for the roof.  The DaBella paperwork shows that they charged my mother's husband $36,000+ for the roof and put in the paperwork that there was an additional $4,000 discount, meaning they were told this is a $40,000 roof, which is simply wrong and exploitive.  Please confirm if I should submit his medical records and other roof quotes to you.

      Although the roof has now had a scheduled permit and we hope to resolve things, the business practice utilized by DaBella was predatory.  As I outlined, the company fraudulently told ***** *****, who had no role in the roof contract, that the roof was complete, had her sign off on paperwork stating such.  They then appear to have added two signatures to the document that are not hers.  That secured DaBella receiving over $36,000 for a roof that was not complete, and vastly unfairly priced.

      I had the company put siding on my house in April of 2024. I had siding put on my house. The job was not completed. I have spoken to the company, spoken to the installer, and spoken to the salesman. They ALL just BLOW ME OFF. They promise and do not deliver.

      1. when scheduled, i was quoted it would be a one day job. It took two and 1/2 days. I had to cancel other scheduled activities for the additional days.2. while removing the old roof, no effort was made to protect ornamental shrubs. the shrubs were damaged.3. was told that i would receive credit for any unused plywood that i had purchased. Installers took five sheets of new, unused plywood. No credit has been given.4. language barrier made communicating with installers next to impossible.5. "*******" called and stated she would research the issues and call back. As to date, no further call from this person, tried to contact her at *********************** twice, no response.

We genuinely value our customers and strive to provide the best possible experience for every homeowner we serve. We have thoroughly reviewed our records and unfortunately, we have not received any recent responses, missed calls, or voicemails from you on our local office phone. In our last interaction, we made every effort to clarify the situation, particularly regarding the damage to shrubs, which is not covered under the terms of our contract. While we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, we are unable to offer compensation as this falls outside of our contractual obligations. Regarding the roof deck, we ordered and used the necessary 45 sheets of plywood, as we explained to you during our discussions. As you can see from the attached photos, the existing shiplap roof deck did not meet GAF installation guidelines. The roof, covering 15 squares, required 3 sheets of plywood per square, totaling 45 sheets. This calculation ensures that there were no leftover materials, and all were used as intended. We wrote off the change order for the unexpected plywoood due to the customers unwillingness to cooperate and dissatisfaction with the installer's language proficiency and refusal of further payment.

      They gave us a quote to have a roofing and raingutter job done. We decided to take off our patio so we didn't have them roof that part. They said that they would refund us the amount that it would cost to roof the patio. So far no refund and it's been a year. We have tried contacting the sales man several times but no response. We have talked to customer service several times. They did finally have the rain gutter come and fix what they installed wrong. That took three visits to fix them. They had to come and fix the flashing around the chimney that the sales person told us they would make it look like new.

      I had a shower installed in 2017 approximately $8000. The company then was called REVE Baths Tub and shower. The shower pan was pressed to size. When pressed the corners were too thin and they are breaking out. I've contacted DaBella. They say their contractor Bathwraps, no longer works with them. I've called *******, who now owns Bathwraps. No one will do a thing for me and my shower is falling apart.
