I purchased a 2015 ***** Cruze for $8000 on 2/21/2025. Prior to selling, the dealership replaced the water pump and valve cover gasket. Looked like maybe an oil like upon pre-buy inspection so dealership agreed to fix that along with broken glove box. 2 days after purchase engine overheated from lack of coolant. They chuckled and told me I bought it "as-is". Their mechanic fixed the oil leak they agreed to but said he didn't see a coolant leak. Later, my mechanic found a leak in the water pump. Took it back to their mechanic and was told water pump was fine and my mechanic was wrong but now it needs a head gasket replacement and possibly an engine because it overheated. They did find a small crack in the water outlet that he said they previously missed when first replacing the water pump and fixed that part instead of replacing the pump because he said there is nothing wrong with it. I finally got my title for this vehicle after 2 months of waiting and asking- but now i can't even drive it. I asked for a refund after 2 days- they will not work with me at all. They claim my van ($3,000) trade in was also having problems so we are even. I told them to trade back them but they dont have my van anymore, they sold it.

On 2/21/2025 we sold the customer a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze for $8,000. $5,000 was by card and $3,000 in trade in value for a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. Prior to us selling the vehicle she test drove on 2/18/2025 and had found no issues with the vehicle other than the glove box not being attached correctly. She wanted to move forward with the purchase and set up an appointment for a pre-purchase inspection at ************** in *************, OR for 9 am the next day. After the inspection, she said everything went good, no codes or anything she was worried about except for an oil leak that was noticed and the glove box. She said she wanted to move forward if we lowered the price down to $8,000 and if we would fix the issues listed above. We agreed to the $8,000 as we originally had the vehicle listed for $8,990 and agreed to fix the glove box and oil leak and put it in a We Owe that both parties signed and agreed to. A few days later she called saying that the vehicle was overheating and having issues and that she took it to her mechanic to get checked out. We let her know since we had worked on certain components for the cooling system that we would have the shop that did the work before she purchased the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze.  Later on she claimed that ************** said it need either head gaskets or an engine replacement. She did not ask for a refund after two days of ownership. On April 17th she came into our office demanding a full refund or to return the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country and we let her know that the ******** had been sold and was also needing about $9,000 worth of work with a new transmission and timing chain job. We let her know that she did sign all the AS-IS paperwork's and that the inspection had not shown anything in regards to the cooling system being bad.. A service contract was offered as stated on the Buyers Guide at time of signing.

I traded in a vehicle, i was not even the registered owner (purchased 2 week prior decided did not want a full size truck). With the trade in we purchased a ranger, pure junk but not the issue with this complaint. In December I Received a phone call from someone in *****, who had the original documents from dealership ( i don't even have a copy of this document). It was the Secure Odometer disclosure. With me as the seller and oregon trucks and RV as the buyer. I have called multiple times and they will not give me an answer as to why my personal information was passed on, my address, signature, and phone number were on this document. The person sent me a picture of the document they had. One of the people i talked to at oregon trucks told me they couldn't find the record of it and asked if i was sure it was oregon trucks and Rv....i talked to two different "managers" about this and cannot get a phone call back or answers. this company is giving away/stealing identities. I am not sure what other information was passed on...do random strangers have my credit card number? my drivers license? They cannot even give me an answer and act very shady if i ask them any questions.

The vehicle we took in trade from ****** was not registered in her name. In order for us to accept we had her filled out an odometer disclosure and that form requires her full information.

When we sold the truck it was an out of state customer and because of that we release all documents to new buyer as many dealers do. This is unfortunate but is really out of our control.

We called the new order and they needed one more form and that's why they contacted her directly but we already sent the document to the new customer.

We purchased a vehicle as is. We were not informed that we could have taken it to a mechanic before purchase. I have tried to contact the owner and salesman because they did not disclose that the timing belt needed to be replaced. I asked to return the vehicle or have them fix the issue. I have not received any correspondence on this issue.

I purchased a 2016 Mini ****** on 5/11/2023. I went down the previous evening (5/10/2023) with a friend to test drive the car & intricately check every part of it, before deciding to purchase it. I returned to purchase, with the same friend. We settled on an agreement for $11,500. ******* was so rushed to leave, she forgot to get me a temporary license plate until I stated, did not walk me out to the car to overlook it before the purchase. She offered a warranty, which was $1,695 that I declined, but said I could purchase $100 roadside assistance, which I did. I noticed the right hand side mirror was shattered, the holder scratched & the piece to protect the undercarriage is broken/ hanging near the ground & the check engine light is on. I contacted them about this & were very hesitant to give me the owners contact info (*******). I contacted him; sent pictures of the damages that occurred within less than 24 hours between the test drive & purchase. He said he would correct it all, along with the $20 gas card I was told I will receive. I needed a quote from my mechanic, who specializes in European ********* will be taken care of. I went to discuss the warranty (which was added to my contract- though I declined *** **** lied about it. Also, stating the roadside assistance is unavailable unless I purchase that entire warranty. The same friends joined. I canceled it myself- knowing he will not correct it. He has given me multiple different answers, is unprofessional, fraudulent & is now stating he will only give me a check for the amount he pays to order parts- he will not pay for labor from my mechanic, ignores most of my messages & when I ask who his mechanic is or how much the check issued will be, he does not provide answers & says its none of my business. I am requesting this issue be resolved immediately, as per the original statement; all costs of parts & labor will be covered by the dealership for service by my mechanic. Its now been over 6 weeks.

Complaint #******** Hello, I received an email in regard to my complaint that was sent previously, though was not able to add further unresolved issues. I went to Oregon Trucks and RVs last week (6/27/23) to pick up the check I was told I would receive for reimbursement of the parts ordered, that ******* stated he had ordered the week prior. I received a check along with an invoice, showing the parts had been ordered the day I was given the check. The $20 for the gas card was added into the check, though no side mirror holder was ordered, only the glass piece. I am willing to pay the out of pocket cost of the mirror holder, though I am diligent in insisting the labor be covered for my mechanic to do the repairs by Oregon Trucks and RVs. ******* insisted he would not have his mechanic do the work, as he said, he is done dealing with me. Once I receive a quote from my mechanic for the cost of labor, I would like that amount of labor to be covered in full by Oregon Trucks and RVs. Thank you for your time , *************

    Desired Outcome:
Billing adjustment; Finish the job; Repair

We talked to our customer *********************** and offer to repair her vehicle with the shop we used in town, she agreed to that, and we ordered the parts, a few days later she messaged me saying that she changed her mind and wanted her mechanic to do the repairs and we told her that we would work with that however we would refund for the cost of parts and not the full amount her mechanic would charge because her mechanic was going to charge us $1680 for the parts we got for $365. She got upset and said that was fine and thats why we reimburse her for the costs of parts at our price.

    Complaint: 20231700

I am rejecting this response because:

The statement made from the owner of the business is dishonest.
My mechanic was going to charge $300 for the labor of repairs, not including the cost of parts.
I spoke with the owner and the quote I had received (that was not that expensive) were from ****************, which we both agreed was way too expensive.
He had not ordered parts until the morning I arrived to receive the check for the refund of the parts (and he insisted I could not come until that morning, so he knew I was going to be there) and hadnt yet ordered the parts, though became very defensive and rude stating he had ordered the parts the week prior. He would not give me the estimate of how much or where he purchased them from.
He ordered the shattered glass- not the holder for the mirror (which was stated would be ordered), and told me he would no longer have his mechanic do the work on the car, as he is done dealing with me.
He also stated no one is authorized to write a check, except for him.
When I arrived the next morning, and he was not there, I waited for almost two hours for the associate I was working with to hear back from him, to receive the email of the invoice of the parts he had just ordered that morning, and also found out he was dishonest in stating that he was the only one authorized to write the check.
I have our entire conversations through text message and voice recording of his dishonesty about the authorization of the check, and the original agreement that my mechanic would be paid for by the dealership.
He has been dishonest throughout this entire process.
I now only request reimbursement of $300 for the labor done by my mechanic, which was the original plan.
He has changed his stories multiple times.
Once labor is covered in full by the dealership, I will accept things have been corrected, as I was told they would be.

    Thank you,
    ******
