      I Purchased a home in mid 2020. It has a 120 gallon propane tank attached to it and at the time of purchase was told it came with the house purchase so I owned it.. I looked for local propane service and choose Ed ********************** of ******* or I Sent in the Application and was told a service technician would have to do a pressure test and that I was scheduled The person never showed up and called the office and was told wait. I waited and they never came and I called back. I was told to wait. No one ever came or called me back. My propane was empty so I called another company who has serviced my propane delivery's for the last 2 1/2 plus years. Today 1/27 I had a letter on my door step from Ed ********************** and Sons of ******* saying that the tank is leased and they will be removing if I do not start service with them. The tank has no indication that it is leased on it like a phone number or company name. I tried to start service with them almost 3 years ago now I called their office and explained the problem. I asked that they bring it up with the original owners as they signed the supposed documents. The lady on the phone was rude and saying she will pass it on to her boss. I asked them not to trespass on my property. I asked for the bosses name and phone number and she hung up on me. She never took my name or phone number. For all I know they will take my propane tank off my house in the middle of winter so I have no heat. She would not provide me with any information proving the tank was theirs or their right to take it. I don't want to cause a problem for them or myself but I can't just let someone take something that has been at my house for almost 3 years now and then all the sudden want it back because they say so.Please help this is really uncomfortable if they won't talk to me on the phone to resolve this and we have record cold temperatures coming this week!I

       I spoke with ******************** in regards to the issues he has had with Ed ********************** & Sons. We both agreed that this situation could have been handled differently and I appreciate him for bringing up these complaints. After I explained the situation he understood that we rented the propane tank to the previous homeowner, but nothing was ever conveyed to him during the purchase process of his home stating who owned the tank. Also after 3 years we sent him a tank pickup letter which was very frustrating to ********************. We had a good conversation and I let him know I was sorry for the way that this was handled and although that tank did belong to us at one point we didn't handle documentation or communication very well. As of now Ed ********************** & Sons considers that tank to be owned by ********************. I have also addressed the *** that hung up on ******************** over the phone and am certain that wont happen again.
